ETA It's really a shame it had to ever come to this.... TN's and GMS's excusing and enablement of RC's unruly and unlawful behavior went on for so long that the ante continued climbing up and up--until eventually the price for holding him accountable at this late stage of the game is exhorbitant, yes. But it should never have been allowed to go unchecked to this point.

Obviously RC should have been taught MANY YEARS AGO that while love is unconditional that consequences are not, and have learned enough about accountability by now to realize that if you are defiant enough for long enough, you can't expect things to continue as usual. :doh:

Sorry. This is unacceptable to me. You're right Kiki, we have seen the same behavior from CA and TN. They both chose to support the child that was responsible for their Grandchilds death. While supporting these adult children they allowed their Granddaughters to lie out in the woods, decomposing more with each day. This is crude to write, but it's the truth and it's my opinion.

I also understand supporting your adult child when they have done wrong, but not at a childs expense and not before they honestly admit to their part in such a serious crime.

It's as if both CA and TN are defending themselves as much, if not more, than they are defending their adult children. A lack of boundaries makes it impossible for them to see themselves as separate from their children. All this goes on while a child is lost.

I honestly can't figure out Teresa's motive. She wasn't much of a mother when he was young, so I guess she really doesn't know how to be a mother, now. I THINK her biggest problem is, butting in. I THINK she manipulated the system & covered for Ron, so he would get custody. That 'man' should NEVER been granted custody. Maybe Teresa just cannot admit she was oh, so wrong about that, so she keeps up the charade. Ron is in jail on almost a million dollar bond, & she keeps playing the game. Go figure.

It's like when you hear us talking you can hear our accent, but everyone up there in WI sounds totally normal to you and it doesn't sound like they have an accent... same deal with us... we don't hear the southern accent because that's what sounds normal, but you northerners DEFINITELY have an accent to us.... hope that makes sense

For the last year Ron has tried to behave while in the public eye for interviews etc., to come out at the one that sympathy should be shown to. He has spoken little. And now we know why because he lies, he has a nasty mouth, he calls unkind names to the Black and Mexican people and is difficult to listen to because his IQ is less than TN promised us it is. He is feeling the pain of prison but in his small universe this is not to be feared. So he is putting on this big bravado. He knows he is in jail, he knows he is being taped and his mother and his lawyer are not there to kick him when he says something he shouldn't. People are getting a true taste of this man and how he thinks. He knows he is going to jail. Now he will cope with that and Haleigh was yesterday to him. Now he has to adapt and that he will after he gets beat a few times. I one of his short blirps with Dana T. he talks about his African American friend. And how he can't understand the reaction that he has a black friend and has for a long time. And then we hear these tapes which are a complete contradiction. He is all over the place, he is coming down from his drugs and he is tweaking. I can only imagine what went on in his household. It is scary. He is giving us exactly what we have wanted an opportunity for the Ron to lose that halo that NG bestowed upon him.

Hey Anothermom! What part of the south are you from? I'm in NC and I totally get what you're saying. We do not use that word for any reason other than to explicitly show we are racist. We do not use it amongst ourselves (meaning white people) but it is okay if African Americans use it when speaking of each other.

One thing that should be obvious to LE, from this entire cast, is how each of them is plotting and planning ways to get pills while at their respective jails. Ron has a toothache, funny Tommy had one too, and Misty just screams her nerves are bad. Hopefully LE has cracked down and told the jailhouse dentist to can all issuance of Lortabs for a freaking toothache.

I understand child tax credits, but you can't get back any more than the total of taxes withheld during the year....right? I mean we know Ron has not worked enough to have withheld 5,000. to get back...

Unfortunately, the child tax credits generally always exceed what the person paid in plus $1000 per child. Many people who don't work at all receive this credit. Please don't get me going on that subject. Have mercy!!

One thing that really stood out to me was when he was talking to the girl, he turned around so he could not see the guard because he wanted to keep talking to her. When his Grandmother mentioned the vigil he ASKED the guard how much time he had so he could get off the phone.

Agree with everyone else about the "n" word- I will not allow anyone to use that word around me without saying something.
