Sure looks like bullet holes to me. But they are pretty big holes. Rifle, maybe? I dunno.

The more I look at that picture, the more I think those holes are way too big to be bullet holes. It's a head scratcher for me.

The car is owned by his mom, right?

ETA. Found it. It's his mom's.

Adams' truck is being searched and his mother's PT Cruiser is also being searched, according to neighbors.

Thanks for finding the link...

I have that written that the PT Cruiser belongs to his mom in my notes, too... But no link...

(I was taking fast notes to catch up with the case... And didn't start writing links until a little later in my notes... If this makes any sense...)

I just googled this random photo to compare if indeed they could be bullet holes.

I think they're bullet holes.

I wouldn't claim these to be "actual" bullet holes just yet.
Chances are far greater they are just the fake bullet holes applied to vehicles by owners with a "special" need of attention or humor. They are commonly sold on Ebay and elsewhere, and I've run across many vehicles displaying these fake bullet holes, btw. Do we know who owns the vehicle?

Bullet Hole Stickers

When googling to find links... I, too, found there are fake bullet holes placed on cars... As I see fake soccer balls and baseballs looking like they have smashed int car windows...

I wonder if the PT Cruiser bullet holes are real... Or fake...? :waitasec:

Seems the reporter would research before reporting... But ...:dunno:

Authorities brought at least two vehicles on flatbed tow trucks to the scene, including one, a PT Cruiser, that appears to be riddled with bullet holes.

The keywords here are "that appears to be". I have seen media report that a vehicle was "ridden with bullet holes", yet they were soon proven to be fake. I will believe they are actual ones only when LE confirms it, and not a minute sooner.

Now I can agree with you. The "bullet holes" appear to be at least 4 to 5 times the diameter of even the largest caliber rifle or pistol. The only holes that would be that large are those coming from a specific type of shotgun shell, which is either a 12 or 10 gauge shotgun rifled slug (not to be confused with an ordinary shotgun "shot" shell)
I say they are the fake decals.

Don't think they are bullet hole stickers because they aren't uniform in size. But I'm also not sure they are actually bullet holes, either.

I think they're bullet holes.

When googling images of fake bullet holes... There seems to be the white-ish outline around the fake holes (to make it more dramatic... Or more real?)...

but I don't see evidence of the "outlines" on the holes in the PT Cruiser...

Additionally.. There seems to be a bit of body damage on both the left rear fender and the right side under the window of right passenger area on the PT cruiser....

All JMO...

The bullet hole stickers are often sold in a pack with various assorted diameters. If the car was hit by actual bullets/slugs from one firearm they would all be fairly uniform size (the only exception being if they hit a curved body part and tore the metal "sideways").

I really believe, from the photo "evidence", that they are just fake stickers.

It is interesting to me that ZA owns these two reportedly fairly large pieces of land... Yet is unemployed...

SMH at bullet hole stickers. Why would anyone want to put them on their car? Weird. :dunno:

I can't think of what else they could be. Any thoughts ? Would an animal with antlers cause something like this? A deer as an example?

I'm a city girl so have no clue. :blushing:

I thought 12 gauge too, at first. But the holes appear too round, and I can't see evidence of scatter.

I'm going to just put this picture in the vault for later, since I truly haven't a clue.

ETA: Wait a minute...is it possible these are drill holes to repair the body damage or something?

I saved the video where they showed bullet holes in the right side of the car. Female reporter (iirc) did not say "bullet holes" but it sure did look like that.

I am going with real damage. Looking at other pt cruisers with dents in the doors and the right front side panel over the wheel, the gaping hole between the door panel and wheel panel is evident. The holes could be from a crossbow or bullets (or both). There are a lot of videos with people shooting crossbows into cars for fun.

In my earlier post I specified a "rifled slug" as the only possibility for a hole that large (tho I believe they are just stickers). Though it is made for shotguns, there is no "scatter" with a slug, as in all other typical shotgun shells. A rifled slug, or "slug", is a solid one-piece projectile, which would be almost 7/8" diameter for a 12 gauge, and almost 1" diameter for a 10 gauge shotgun.

Just an FYI. (Don't feel bad, as I doubt Joe Biden even knows that) ;)

weld holes/ pull dent from roof - YouTube

The PTC belongs to ZA's mother though doesn't it?

I could possibly see a kid or a young person putting the fake bullet holes on their vehicle. But a grown woman who has older children? That makes no sense to me.

When were these bullets holes first reported?

Did someone suspect ZA all along and did this as a retaliation perhaps or warning?
