Sure looks like bullet holes to me. But they are pretty big holes. Rifle, maybe? I dunno.
The car is owned by his mom, right?
ETA. Found it. It's his mom's.
Adams' truck is being searched and his mother's PT Cruiser is also being searched, according to neighbors.

I wouldn't claim these to be "actual" bullet holes just yet.
Chances are far greater they are just the fake bullet holes applied to vehicles by owners with a "special" need of attention or humor. They are commonly sold on Ebay and elsewhere, and I've run across many vehicles displaying these fake bullet holes, btw. Do we know who owns the vehicle?
Bullet Hole Stickers
Authorities brought at least two vehicles on flatbed tow trucks to the scene, including one, a PT Cruiser, that appears to be riddled with bullet holes.

The more I look at that picture, the more I think those holes are way too big to be bullet holes. It's a head scratcher for me.
I just googled this random photo to compare if indeed they could be bullet holes.![]()
I think they're bullet holes.
Don't think they are bullet hole stickers because they aren't uniform in size. But I'm also not sure they are actually bullet holes, either.
It is interesting to me that ZA owns these two reportedly fairly large pieces of land... Yet is unemployed...

The keywords here are "that appears to be". I have seen media report that a vehicle was "ridden with bullet holes", yet they were soon proven to be fake. I will believe they are actual ones only when LE confirms it, and not a minute sooner.
Now I can agree with you. The "bullet holes" appear to be at least 4 to 5 times the diameter of even the largest caliber rifle or pistol. The only holes that would be that large are those coming from a specific type of shotgun shell, which is either a 12 or 10 gauge shotgun rifled slug (not to be confused with an ordinary shotgun "shot" shell)
I say they are the fake decals.
I am going with real damage. Looking at other pt cruisers with dents in the doors and the right front side panel over the wheel, the gaping hole between the door panel and wheel panel is evident. The holes could be from a crossbow or bullets (or both). There are a lot of videos with people shooting crossbows into cars for fun.
I thought 12 gauge too, at first. But the holes appear too round, and I can't see evidence of scatter.
I'm going to just put this picture in the vault for later, since I truly haven't a clue.
ETA: Wait a minute...is it possible these are drill holes to repair the body damage or something?
