What a mess of an attorney--his client hasn't even been charged yet and he's just incriminated her.

Keep it up...we're listening and so is LE.

Does anyone here know.........could Baez's statement be used in court?

Well...his mouth is moving and he seems to be saying exactly just what they quoted him as saying. Guess he wasn't misrepresented in the press this time, eh?! Wow.

Very telling comment per Baez. My theory is that the re-testing of the forensic evidence is in, LE have their ducks in a row and are on the verge of filing murder charges. Baez and the Anthony's know, and negotiations are underway for lesser charges. Basically it is game over, time for the towel to be thrown in on the "Caylee is alive" charades. A significant turn of events has occured today per that statement he made. The confirmation will come when the Sunday vigil is cancelled...or hopefully announced by LE sooner. Time will tell...but I smell a turn of events is in the air!

I have a feeling that as soon as she pulled that cap out of the bag on the news, LE swooped in like Superman and whisked it away for forensic testing. Can't you see Casey mopping her brow with her nasty paws and smearing "decomp fluids" on that hat? She probably wore it because it was old and she'd had a falling out with Annie so she figured she'd dispose of it anyway.

Well why not hold out for a little wishful thinking under the circumstances!?

I keep thinking that something of interest came out of that incident...We never heard from her again! Perhaps she was asked not to talk about it?

Just a quick question - does that mean that KC could have reached a point where she wants to come clean, and JB strongly advised her against it?
And, wouldnt it be in her BEST interests to reveal where the body is? Surely that would be taken into account at the trial with sentencing.

That's what I think too. KC would have cracked by now. That is why JB didn't want LP questioning her. That is why he advised the family not to question her. Its a shame. This man is trying to make a name for himself at Caylee's expense. Sounds like at KC's expense too.

I'm sitting here shaking my head .........his statement gave me a serious tightening of the chest feeling and a pit in my stomach.....I mean I've pretty much felt like Caylee was deceased, plus with what LE had said recently that they don't think she's alive........Baez's statement is kinda like the final straw I guess :sheesh:

Looks like JB knows she has committed a felony that is punishable by life in prison without parole. What a stupid comment for him to make tho! Can you make your client look any guiltier than he does??? If I were KC I would start looking for a new attorney. Anyone that makes cracks like that is plain stupid.
