Long time lurker here. There's a picture of the back of KC's car under the image thread. There are no stickers that I could see. I would post a link but I am new and don't think I am allowed yet.
Welcome to WS, Dr. Know?! Sure, you can post a link especially if it is listed on the media or image thread! :) Thanks for the information, too! :blowkiss:

It is logical to think it was abandoned on the 26th. Didn't she stay at Tony's on the night of the 25th and 26th?

How far is Amscot from Tony's?

According to the calender she stayed with him the night of the 26th through to the 27th. If she got up and left very early on the 27th, in time for the car to be found at 7am, I think TonE would have made mention of that.

Casey told Amy about the smell in the car on the 25th. She also mentions to Amy about the squirrels on the frame and a definite smell on the 27th.

When she tries to set up her father? What a peach huh? She is going down and soon. imho.

So we know it happened before the 25th which puts it in line with my 24th theory. She gave it time to "air out" before she mentioned it, imo. Realizing that she then needed a "cover story" for the smell..she came up with one and told Amy. (No reason other than to see if Amy believed it...is what I would say. She was "trying it out" for later.)

The other area is closer to Orlando International Airport, where a driver told investigators she saw a car like Casey's white Pontiac Sunfire parked in the median days after Caylee disappeared and she saw someone slight of build wearing a baseball cap and what looked like athletic wear walk out of the woods, someone she believes could have been Casey. It was odd to her because it's not a popular spot for joggers.

This is the kind of eyewitness testimony they need to solve this case. Bravo for the person who called in that tip! No wonder they wanted to search that area with such great urgency.

The day that Casey borrowed the shovel from the neighbor, he said she was wearing a athletic or jogging bra didn't he?? And now a witness sees someone in
athletic wear walking out of the woods. Could be a connection for sure if you ask me! I hope they continue to search!

I believe this is right - IIRC Tony said she stayed the night of the 26th and got up early and "left him" Then she called later and said she was out of gas.

So - what does early mean to Tony? 5:00; 5:30; 6:00; 6:30ish? And then, what was she doing from 7:00ish to 11:00ish? How was she getting around? Were the freezer pops still frozen?

The lady said she saw the car there when she arrived at work. If she normally gets there at 7:00, but she was late that day for some reason, maybe she didn't get there until 8 or 9:00. Even still there is a period of time where Casey can't be placed.

Someone gave her a ride that morning at some point in time. I don't think Casey would walk far, but maybe someone did live close enough that she could go there?

I listened to JB and it is a little less incriminating when taken in context. He says it's not in his client's best interest to tell LE "what she knows" about where Caylee is...

That could be taken several ways and we've chosen to select the most sinister - implying that we all believe she knows exactly where Caylee is - and therefore an admission of guilt.

It could also be that he doesn't think it's in her best interest to keep insisting that she doesn't know where Caylee is, or repeating her ZG story, or for her to change her story at this time. Each of these would not be in the best interest of his client but would not necessarily imply any admission of guilt...only of lying.

I know I flip-flop back and forth on all the issues in this case but I'm only trying to be straight with the evidence and be sure that I don't rush to judgment. When I slow down, I can usually acknowledge that people aren't as stupid as I want them to be.

JMO

To what question was he replying to... what did the interviewer ask him? Was he was asked if he thought Casey would tell where Caylee is, or was he asked if he thought Casey would admit to her guilt? Either way, he is right.. it's NOT in her best interests, because then she would be saying that she hid or disposed of the body, after Caylee died... whether it was an accident or deliberate. If she admitted guilt, then she would go straight to prison, there would be no need for a trial. With a trial, there is a very small chance she could get off. Like half of 1%. And.... JB's concern is Casey... not Caylee.

Is the bolded part correct? He actually said she left that early on the 27th? He also says he can't remember the exact date he picked her up at Amscot.

Sorry, I didn't read the whole post. It's an example of her car. Nevermind. I will go back to lurking.

Ok.. Casey left the message online about not living in the home in 9 days.. drama...

And, like I mentioned earlier, there is no way she would have called attention to that smell if the body was still in the trunk. She would have to know that calling attention to the smell would possibly bring someone to the car to try and pinpoint the source. The body was gone, imo, before the 25th.

And then litigress - doesn't Casey tell Amy something about "scrapping the squirrels off the frame"? Does that mean that is when she got rid of Caylee's body?

Right. And I forgot this but Tony already stated that the food was not from a store but rather it was from her parents house.

So what is up with that dead period of time? How close is her house to the Amscott? Could she have walked?

Or jogged? Can someone try to figure up how long it would take to jog to her house, shower and clean-up and jog back?

But also I was wondering, what time does this Amscot open up for business? I worked for a check cashing place and we didn't open up until 9:00. Why would the employee have to be so early? I can see maybe half hour early, but 2 hours?

Regarding the freezer pops, I've always thought they were the squeeze pops in the plastic wrapper, the kind that you purchase in a liquid state and freeze yourself--and not actual frozen popsicles.

In KC's cupid profile, she even mentioned a plastic wrapper from a freezer pop being nearby.

Sorry for the long thread name!

"Eyewitness News has learned detectives have been searching for the body of Caylee Anthony in two more places in east Orange County. Caylee was reported missing 78 days ago. Detectives say she is dead and that at one point her body was in the trunk of her mom's car."

and

""It does her no good to show her cards to give the prosecution any advantage they have to put her away for life," Jose Baez said.

Judging by what he said, it would seem that Casey would get herself into trouble by telling what she knows about Caylee's whereabouts."

Interesting...

Was this JB's way of getting LE to cut Casey a deal? Like take away death penalty or "no life" sentence and she will talk?
It was almost like him letting them know she knows for a deal.

In Chris's interview he said that on the 17th, 18th or 19th(I guess he wasn't sure of the date), he said Casey told him she and her Mom were thinking of buying a 250,000.00 home located by the Curry Ford Road dump.
I hope this dump has been checked out. She may have been planning where to dump the body, and scouting out an area.

I don't understand that either. Wouldn't Tony have noticed that she didn't have her car the night before? If Amscot wasn't that far away, she may have walked from Tony's back to her car, but I keep thinking someone else isn't stepping forward here. Was she with someone?

All these questions and no answers. Gah!
