Exactly. Which begs the question-If she was so concerned with the smell why would she want to go back and get it?

I don't think she was ever going back after that car. I believe she still needed some more money to get a plane ticket to California and she planned to steal that fast and get out of there. When she could not steal it like she thought her plans were delayed long enough for her mother to catch up with her.

Consider this: When GA picked up the car he opened the door with HIS key. That led the tow company to believe the car was locked. I know here even if a car is not locked, they lock it when placed in the yard because of liability for losing anything out of it. I don't believe the car was locked because they could not have made an inventory of it with it locked.

maybe it was those kinda pops that are liquid til frozen?
I think so, because in her snag a date thing (forget what one it was) it asks her to tell what's on her coffee table at the moment. One of the things she lists is a plastic freezer pop wrapper. When kiddo was small I always bought those big old boxes of freezer pops, freeze a portion at a time.

Now I get the bags of sugarfree popcicles, doesn't give you those little cuts on the sides of your mouth if you're not careful :p I love popcicles!

When George tried to start it in the tow lot it wouldnt turn over IIRC. He put the gas in and it started.

So says GA...........I can't find that info from the tow company statements.

Who says he even tried to start it but him? I hate to nitpick, but I believe there is SOMETHING in his story here which does not fit and I am just trying to fit the pieces.

I was just about to run through the timeline to try and pinpoint an approximate time she may have been spotted in this median and found something in my notes that struck me odd.

Wasn't it in Chris's interview that he thought he saw Casey jogging and texted her but she said it wasn't her? Does anyone know right offhand what day that was?

Here's a message she left to him on MS or FB:

The Chris S. interview transcript says he saw a girl that looked just like KC jogging (workout run) down Chickasaw approximatley 9:30am July 15th. He texted her to say, hey I just saw you running...she texted back that it wasn't her.

What is the address of amscot? Anyone have it handy? i would like to mapquest CA's house and Amscot.

Walking directions to 4937 Hopespring Dr, Orlando, FL 32829
7.0 mi – about 2 hours 17 mins
7501 E Colonial DrOrlando, FL 32807

1. Head east on E Colonial Dr/SR-50 toward Salem Dr 0.5 mi
2. Turn right at N Chickasaw Trail 3.1 mi
3. N Chickasaw Trail turns left and becomes El Prado Ave 0.4 mi
4. Turn right at S Chickasaw Trail 2.9 mi
5. Turn left at Grandee Dr 0.2 mi
6. Grandee Dr turns slightly left and becomes Hopespring Dr
Destination will be on the right 138 ft

4937 Hopespring DrOrlando, FL 32829

That's really not that far, especially if she was a jogger and I'm sure there are short cuts you can take if you are on foot rather than in a vehicle.

Isn't Chickasaw where C. Stutz saw her or somebody saw her?

Though I shudder at the thought, I'm beginning to wonder several things:

2. We also know that Casey pulled into the garage on the 24th when George was present. There did not appear to be any odor then, or surely he would have noticed it. BUT, she was extremely nervous about him viewing the trunk. This suggests to me that perhaps Caylee was stored in some sort of container with a preservative such as ice, dry ice, or chloroform?

I don't think she pulled into the garage:confused:?

Though I shudder at the thought, I'm beginning to wonder several things:

1. We know the cadaver dogs hit in the A's back yard. This says to me that either caylee was there or there was something such as clothing that was permeated with the cadaver odor. Since Caylee was never seen at the house, nor, I believe by anyone else after the 16th, can we assume that Caylee was deceased by the 17th?

3. By the time the car was towed the odor was horrendous. Is it possible that between the 24th and the 27th, the preservative melted or was rendered ineffective, thus permeating the trunk with cadaver ordor, and KC was forced to dispose of the body immediately, and then abandon the car?

4. If so, that only leaves a few days when Caylee's body could have been disposed of, and her locations during these days would be vital.

I apologize if this has already been discussed, but am curious what others think.
I don't see her going to all that trouble personally. Ice, container, etc. It would mean work to her. She is probably the laziest person on the planet. I also do not see her driving around with the body in the trunk for days either. She took the body and dumped it immediately because when she dug it up to rebury it...the smell was already present. I can see a garbage bag or a blanket being used tho. Her main focus would be to rid herself of the problem as soon as possible.

GA has given more than one account of what happened on the 24th which gives me pause to believe any of his stories. If we choose to believe him, he didn't get near the car to smell it. Something is just totally "off" about his story to LE.

Was just on the Search Update thread:

Oh whoa.. Chris T is who the message is to. You're saying Chris S? Are there 2 Chris's?

I'm only getting this info from earlier posts in the case. It could have been a typo from one of us. Tutz is the name showing on the post that I'd copied from way back. Probably the same person.

The tow yard made an inventory of the car? I had no idea...why didn't they note the smell at that time? Didn't the tow yard manager say that when George opened the car door the smell over powered them?

I went checked Amy's interview. She said KC first texted her about needing gas can on the 27th or 28th (she's not sure which date). KC called and showed up at their door at 9:45 am on 6/30 and asked about gas cans again. Amy said she said, well, let's just go to Target and get gas cans.

I'll go the tow yard manager's interview next and post the relevant part of that interview.

I wonder the same thing. She had freezer pops. That confuses me.
Aren't freezer pops those those things that have liquid in plastic that you freeze

The tow yard manager appeared to just repeating what GA told him. He had not tried to start it.

And IIRC Amy brought them to her on another occasion, not those dates.

SB: And then, and anyway, I went back to the car with him and the car wouldn't start.
And I looked, he was sitting in the car and I looked in the car and the gas guage
was on empty. I said, "Oh, it's out of gas." And he said, "Well I brought gas with me."

I don't think she pulled into the garage:confused:?
If we believe the neighbor, he said she backed into the garage which was odd and why he noticed it. Now..we don't know if this was on the 24th or not as he can't pin down the actual date she borrowed the shovel.

It is quite possible this is a family attempt at covering up Casey's actions because of what the neighbor said.

How very convenient!

Well, she had them nuggets too.

But they're usually pre-cooked and there's no real harm if they thaw and are then reheated.

I have thought from day one GA was lying about this. It was intended for a cover up, but failed miserably.

Yep, you're right, but there was also chicken nuggets.

My first freezer pop comment was supposed to sound sarcastic. I'm not good at snark. lol

The tow lot did not have a key to the car....it was in the first documents released.

The guy that picked up the car to tow it stated he had a bad cold and couldn't smell anything. They did not open the vehicle because they did not have a key. GA was the first person to open up the car when he did arrive with the key while the Tow owner was standing there.

I really think you and I have a good point with the storage theory. I honestly believe that she had to have "stored " the body to slow decomp till she could come up with a different plan. She may have even taken the container from her house.
