I believe these are the brackets you are referring to. It appears there is tape on the end of the one closest to the can.

Hard to imagine they would say "(2) metal brackets with duct tape" and then only show one, basically (or one and a half) though I agree that there's the gas can and there's two metal brackets so that's probably them.

The vision I had when I first read that statement about the brackets was that they were partially wrapped with duct tape. Some people wrap the bottom part of the bracket with duct tape for a padding (like if you're hanging something on them that you don't want to get scratched). Kind of mickey-mouse but it works. Looks like I may have been wrong, though.

Poetic justice that it was JB's interviews this morning that got KB and crew to dig for those pics. And I feel certain that when JB pleads his change of venue motion,the SA will have all these videos of the A's and the defense on NATIONAL news shows to prove this is not limited to Orlando.
JB has experience all right-at shooting himself in the foot!

And this is exactly why most defense attorneys won't go over the evidence publicly before the trial. Because it gives others time to find rebuttals before the trial. Guess JB forgot that.

This is amazing investigative journalism!

I am so in awe of KB and her entire journalism team!

This new find brings up some interesting things, IMO.

First, this will give the SA great new lines of questioning for CA, GA during the trial and just adds stronger ties to the A family and Caylee's killer.

Second, it has probably thrown all the other Orlando media outlets into a weekend frenzy as they replay every single video that was ever shot in an attempt to find their own duct tape "exclusive."

Third, it proves beyond a reasonable doubt that CA, GA definitely knew that their daughter was the killer not long after the body was found and the type of duct tape was established.

Since then, they have continued to seek donations in the name of Caylee for their own agenda, continued to accuse and smear others, continued to try to derail a murder investigation and trial and are working with a vengence to keep justice from being served for their own granddaughter.

This new find proves that there are no mistruths or halftruths from them, only lies.

A new word in the English language should be created to describe their disgusting behavior.

They are they only people who should want to "fly under the radar" forever.

Bear with me for a sec....remember right after Caylee was found LE got a warrant for the A's home? IIRC thet said the it was something the medical examiner pointed out that led them to the home. Maybe she noticed the logo right away [at the site] and they went looking for,not just for the roll of tape,but anything it might be on.
My guess is that the tape was used on the brackets some way.If it was a roll of tape I think it would be stated as such,but that's just a guess .

I have not had a chance to read this whole thread yet, but I am a little confused.

1. We have the tape that was found on Caylee's skull.
2. We have the tape on the gas cans from the A's house.
3. We have the new-found tape on the poster taped to the tent that KB just brought to our attention.

BBM: this is not the poster that was on the A's front door. I posted several links to those pics yesterday and the poster on their front door did not show duct tape (unless it was folded over and applied on the back out of sight from the front). That particular poster where we can't make out logos was put up by GA and filmed. Hope that helps :dance:

It was right after the news broke of a body discovery. There was a live feed going on. We all watched her pull up and walk in the house. Then a LE officer walked up knocked on the door and escorted her to her vehicle and she left. Heh.

ETA: To be fair she could have been going there to feed the dogs. Who knows.

I had forgotten about that. I need to go find the video of that and see if she appears to have been able to take anything. I do remember that she had on a large shirt. Not implying she did anything but there is always a chance that that tape vanished that day.

I know, I'm not saying they may not have known ( and I don't know how they knew) where the body was, I just haven't been able to make the leap in my own head yet. I haven't put those pieced together for myself yet. Not saying they're not there.
What keeps me 'canoogling" on this case is trying to make links between the baby being murdered, and who knew what when. Not sure this makes any sense. It just hasn't mede sense to me . .KWIM??? God knows I want the evidenciary links to lead to Casey and that home, and I think most of it does.
