Meter reading is a lot more scientific than it once was. Does anyone know for sure which type is used in Orlando? My small city uses Mobile, involving a laptop and and a truck, the only reason to enter property is for pipe repair.

I've lived in Wisconsin for 24 years and lived in six houses. All of which the meters were in the back yard. I have seen the meter reader several times at each address.My point being the Anthony's would have been aware of meter readers. And would definately needed access to the back yard here.

Just found a dead baby with duct tape on her mouth. Perfect time to check near by trucks for duct tape. Not early, perfect timing.

I think it is possible for the meter readers to share trucks with the fix it repair guys at a utility company. So not far fetched at all to think they would carry duct tape. It is used primarily for heating and cooling duct work, which may or may not have water pipes running through. I can see several scenarios. Cable guys might carry electrical tape.

I think your numbers are flawed. First it would not be out of the ordinary for a company to buy a 2 year supply of duct tape. Are you saying there was only one roll of this duct tape sold in Florida?

I can't say for sure in Orlando but here in the Tampa/Clearwater area I have never seen any water meters that are not in the front yard. I live in a neighborhood where all of the houses are over 50 years old and all the meters are in the front yard close to the road.

We also now have meters that they can read without opening the cover. They are digital and they wave some kind of meter over the cover and they get the reading.

I would think that there might be some much older homes with meters in the back or along the side of the house but their neighborhood doesn't look real old.

I realize that you are wanting to explore every avenue but if you have to jump through too many hoops to come up with a scenario that works then you are probably barking up the wrong tree.

RK putting the duct tape on Caylee could very probably have left enough of his own DNA there to ensure himself a DP. Not just RK, anyone else being so foolish!

Not to be argumentative, but it is a bit like tunnel vision to assume that Casey wasn't capable of putting the duct tape on Caylee.

If you are committed to looking at other angles, it would make sense to include the possibility that Casey did - which includes ALL angles.

I'll freely admit that I do have tunnel vision as a result of exploring many, many other angles and arriving at a singular conclusion. But, I respect that you're still working your way through your own process.

Let's look at this using Occam's Razor.* When you introduce an unrelated third party into a crime scene theory, you stray away from the likely and most convincing theories.* While it is not a longshot to think that RK may have carried Henkel tape on his truck, IS it more likely that HE would have been involved in this crime more than KC?* MY guess is NO.*

Didn't the reports indicate that the duct tape was place prior to or just after death? If so, it would have been a little late to get the idea from a Nancy Grace show.

When was death??? I dont think anyone on Websleuths knows. I dont know because I wasn't there when it happened. I think the experts guessed 4 to 6 months back from finding the body, but they have an educated guess. I guess she could have died in July or August or September or June.

I am not sure her body was ever in that trunk.

I have a hard time believing KC put duct tape over her daughters mouth.

Perhaps Caylee drowned and Casey simply took her out the back fence and through the woods. Perhaps she was closer to the house all along and someone else drug her closer to the road. Was there a gate in the back?

I wonder what's the odds of a rare duct tape - Henkel, being used on the body of a missing/murdered child, used on a gas can found at the home of the missing/murdered child, and also found on the posters put up by the grandparents of that missing/murdered child?

Even if the duct tape used on Caylee doesn't match the duct tape on the gas can, it may match the duct tape used on the posters or other applications found in the Anthony home.

One could assume that if the Henkel duct tape is a discontinued item, that when George bought it, it was being sold as a discontinued item at a discount price and George bought all the last remaining roles.

I think it's safe to assume that there is a link between the Henkel duct tape found on Caylee's remains, and the Henkel duct tape found at the Anthony home.

Poor caylees hair was barely hanging on. In fact the duct tape mostly kept it intact. Could not have been applied long after decomp started. Can you imagine tryng to do so even?

Well, I don't either, but if you'll note the title of this thread, GA and 200 degree duct tape seem to be following each other around. The same can't be said for RK. Are you entirely dismissing TWO pictures that have been retrieved from news footage placing Henkel 200 F tape on Caylee posters and George there AND the same duct tape on his gas can (which just happen to be in the trunk around the same time as the body)?

If you don't think KC could have put duct tape on Caylee then maybe we should talk about GA doing it instead of RK...bein's GA is the one with the duct tape trailing him like bread crumbs.

Not only that but I believe that the Anthonys kept their gate locked. My meter is in my front yard by the road.

I also believe that LE already has the information and photos of the posters. It is a bombshell to us but not to them. IMOO
