I really dont buy the idea that Casey put duct tape on Caylee. I am not desperate to absolve Casey, and RK is not just anyone. His story just does not add up.

If I had to guess which person would be more likely to have 200 degree duct tape, George or Roy. I would pick Roy.

I am looking at other angles here. I do not have tunnel vision.

I get this is very important to you to find other possibilities than that KC murdered Caylee,coldheartedly.As a sleuther I look at all the possibilities and when the pieces don't fit IMO I point that out.Many of us disagree on many parts of what happened.That's what makes WS a great place to work on it.
IMO everything points to KC.I don't believe I have tunnel vision.It's just obvious to me.I realize many of us have very different opinions of what happened,including the possibility of an accident.For me the duct tape rules that out .The link to the Anthony's is also obvious to me,and I believe will be very damning in court.JMO
It will come down to a jury,unless KC pleads guilty first.

I mark gas cans with tape. Always need regular gas and gas oil mixtures. I wonder why the can was marked. Perhaps she put gas and oil mix in her car and it was running bad, and not out of gas.

I guess I assume that George marked the can with tape for a reason. I shouldn't assume that though, Maybe Casey put the duct tape on the can.

What evidence that has been released leads you to believe that the tape on the gas cans was placed there PRIOR to KC stealing them?

Is it possible that the tape was NOT on the cans, KC stole them, the tape was placed on the cans in the trunk at the SAME TIME the tape was placed on poor Caylee, hence the tape is now on the cans when KC shoves them at George and states, "Take your f$%%^ gas cans!"?

As Casey was the last one to see Caylee alive, Roy Kronk was the first one to see her dead. Both should be examined.

If I found a body in the woods, I would expect LE to be suspicious of me, its thier job...

We do not know this as fact. At this particular time, Cindy was the last person to see Caylee alive. There has been no witness, or statement that has been verified as truth from KC as to when KC last saw Caylee alive. George states the morning of the 16th, but there are big holes in his story. The computer guy has now come forward saying he was Caylee late in the afternoon with Kc, but we currently do not have any documentation that his statement has been substantiated from LE, so all we know as FACT right now is that Cindy was last with Caylee on the 15th at the nursing home.

We do not know as FACT that Roy Kronk was the first to see Caylee's dead body. Until LE unwinds their various stories, it could have been George, Cindy, Lee, KC,.....

Still not sure why you are determined to turn the bus in the direction of Roy Kronk again??

Why do you have a hard time believing Casey put the duct tape there? I think it would make less sense to have another person duct tape Caylee after the fact. That just doesn't fly with me.

If I found a murder victim, and there is a reward involved, I just can't think of a reason not to report it and instead put duct tape over their mouth. I would risk going to jail.

Then I turn around and report it to the authorities repeatedly. It just doesn't compute.

A water meter is not going to be in your backyard. The meter is positioned just off the main on your property's main supply just off the main.

I don't get why people have a hard time with RK's story. In the course of doing his job and being where he was supposed to be doing his job, he discovered a body. The only kink is the slacker LE officer who blew him off, and that's not RK's fault.

Just have to add,I was a foster parent over 20 years.I have seen the horrible things parents do to their children.I have had children who had brain damage from being hit against a wall,torn retinas from violent shaking,a 7week old with a broken femur,burn injuries that were intentionally inflicted,horrible stuff.Amazingly the families usually stuck up for the parent and swore their child/cousin/neice/nephew/husband/wife,etc, would NEVER hurt their baby.But they did.

Gotcha...btw, the electric meter for the Anthony home is just around the corner from the garage door on the side of the house and is accessed from the front yard.

I've lived in Wisconsin for 24 years and lived in six houses. All of which the meters were in the back yard. I have seen the meter reader several times at each address.My point being the Anthony's would have been aware of meter readers. And would definately needed access to the back yard here.

Just found a dead baby with duct tape on her mouth. Perfect time to check near by trucks for duct tape. Not early, perfect timing.
I think it is possible for the meter readers to share trucks with the fix it repair guys at a utility company. So not far fetched at all to think they would carry duct tape. It is used primarily for heating and cooling duct work, which may or may not have water pipes running through. I can see several scenarios. Cable guys might carry electrical tape.

I think your numbers are flawed. First it would not be out of the ordinary for a company to buy a 2 year supply of duct tape. Are you saying there was only one roll of this duct tape sold in Florida?

IMO LE would instantly be able to tell the difference between freshly applied duct tape and duct tape that was placed 6mos earlier and exposed to the elements.There was no need to check the trucks for duct tape,when the tape on Caylee was probably quite weathered.
I wonder if this an avenue the defense is going to go down.Right now,with the sworn statement from KC added to the motion it appears they are sticking to SODDI,but since JB said they wouldn't rule out a plea ,maybe they are going to claim accident. They might have pulled off the accident scenario ,if not for that Henkal duct tape KC used.JMO

The tape would be on the gas cans for 1 of two reasons, with difering paterns of placement.

1. The tape was placed on the gas can by GA. It is extremely common for some people to mark gas cans using a strip of tape. This way they know which can has the fuel oil mix, and which just the straight gas. We know for a fact GA had access to the tape and it was a common use item for him, just based on the recently revealed news footage. So he may have simply slapped a piece on the can at some point from a roll in the garage. Remember we do not know how old or weathered the tape on the gas can is.

2. The tape was placed on the can by KC as she was tearing off strips to use. Which has some very horrifying implications. In this case the chances are it means she was duct taping Caylee in the trunk, and the gas can was the only smooth surface to use to manage the tape. In this case the tape would probably be newer and less weathered, as the gas can would not have been exposed to any elements or normal yard/landscaping materials while in the trunk.

The chances that a matching piece of tape happened to come from a diferent player in this affair, be it RK, JG, Zanny the Nanny is outside the realm of sane reasonable probability. We now have at least 4 confirmed instances of that specific tape in use by or around the Anthony family. The tape was in active use in the household and remained so well after the child disapeared. The tape was found on the child. The tape was found on items from the mothers car. As I said we are outside the possibility of some conspiracy or third party tape bandit here.

Anything is possible. But it looks like the tape is covering an air vent that is designed to improve the speed of pouring (by equalizing the pressure). Most cans that have this vent have a cover for it to use during storage and transport. It helps prevent evaporation and spillage. These caps are often lost and it's not uncommon to see them replaced by humble duct tape. That's just moo of what I think happened here.

But, the only people involved in this entire investigation that have been proved to be in possession of this type of duct tape on their personal items have been those in the immediate A family.

And, yes, I agree with you that duct tape on the body = murder

And, yes, I agree with you that Casey was the last to see Caylee alive = murderer

And, yes, I agree with you that this duct tape finding = DP

And to help you understand why GA is more likely to have this type of 200 degree industrial heat resistant tape, GA had owned and worked in the used car business and this links him to having knowledge of this type of tape.

Makes sense he would have a preference for this type of tape.

RC worked with water, reading water meters only, not heat related at all.

In order for your theory to work, you have to factually link someone else in this investigation to this type of tape. I wish you luck as I don't think it can be done.
