Yep I recall this article...thanks for bumping it up. It was said that the duct tape was very very rare to.

I also wonder what kind of tape Casey got from Amy and did LE ever check that out? Didn't Casey ask Amy for tape in one of her texts to her around the time of the no clothes party….. “Hey you lost my duct tape and I was happy that there was so much left”, etc?…… I read this also in a comment, but never read Amy's text that said it though. I wonder if Casey had given that tape to Amy in the past or did Amy purchase it.

Casey did borrow Amy's duct tape for the Anthing But Clothes party. Casey never returned the duct tape... if I remember correctly. I think this was revealed before Caylee's remains were even found? I could be wrong though?

We have discussed this on other threads and iirc it was not Duct Tape but Gaff Tape that Amy had in her purse and mentions Gaff tape at then end of a text message she sent to Casey...SEE BELOW

I seen the tape but wanted to touch on something else. She KNEW in this video that this was NOT Caylee, therefore leading me to believe (IMO) that they knew Caylee was dead and where her body had been discarded. If it had been me? And this was happening? I would beat down the gates of Hell getting to that park.

I feel certain the state will have several dozen rebuttals for this scenario,but I can't help wondering if GA is going along with the defense.

GA and CA have made some bad decisions in their attempt to make ICA look innocent. They usually make things worse. So might this be another bad decision on their part ,or is this strictly coming from the DT ? All they are aiming for is reasonable doubt,not to have GA arrested.
There is no single piece of evidence that will create guilt or doubt ,IMO. It's the accumulation of evidence that lays out the entire story.

I think the below clip is very telling! Watch GA's reactions and timing as he is asked the questions by JB and how he answers. IMO, this is their way of letting everyone know that GA may be the sacrificial lamb. However, IMHO, if they have to convince someone in her family to pretend that they MIGHT have been able to do something, then all it does is show that KC is guilty. If they are going to infer that GA might have harmed Caylee, but they have not worked with the SA and LE to have him punished, then that just shows me that KC is guilty. KWIM?

Eyewitness News found the same rare type of tape that was found on Caylee's skull being used by the Anthony family on a Caylee Anthony poster.
You can't buy the tape from Home Depot. It is industrial-grade duct tape that hasn't been sold in years.

Well, there you have it. I will make no mistake from this day forward- he is in on this scheme (with the defense, his wife, and his 'gorgeous' daughter) up to his eye balls.

Oh I absolutely believe you Frigga - but you've heard that saying - "sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.....". IMO George is all talk and no action, and when push comes to shove and it looks like he may face jail time - I suspect he will sing a different tune! George is a weak man who looks after George. Tricked? Yes, because I don't think he's very bright - but take a fall on purpose - just don't see him being brave enough.

Nah! You 're fine. We're just recycling the news. I think we we've all speculated that the DT would try to insinuate the parents did it,since all the evidence at the scene came from their house,INCLUDING the duct tape. Doesn't help that they cleaned the car and changed their stories.

You seriously will not get any argument out of me re the parents commandeering that bus - it's way too close to the trial for me to be instigating a discussion just for the sake of it. I agree!:loser:

I remember seeing the piece of duct tape on the poster from over a year ago, but I do not remember seeing the actual roll of duct tape on the table. I actually gasped when I seen the roll of duct tape sitting on that table behind George.

I asked AZLawyer in the legal thread if George's lawyer, who knows the trial is coming up and must be keeping an eye on things - will take a moment and say "uh - George, about the bus heading towards you..." "you do understand legally what this means - do you?"

I'd like George to get really mad for once - get up on the witness stand, be a man, and testify to what he really thinks for the State, on behalf of Caylee.
Chances of it happening? Five in a Hundred.....:anguish:

I always thought that since the duct tape was rare and the A's had it for awhile that there was not much left on the roll. But looking at the actual photo of the roll it seems to be pretty full.

I just don't think it was all used up and I really don't think it was just left at the Kidfinder's tent because GA is so anal about all his possesions.

So...where is it now? Was it dispossed of? By whom? When?
