NG Feb 2: Haleigh fmr. babysitter Misty Croslin cracks behind bars!

I didn't hear all of the question but a caller called in and brought something Ron had said on Nancy's show. Nancy said they would comb through transcripts. What did this caller ask and what was the show date?

Caller said that once Ron said that he was going to get the 'two' that took Haleigh.

Completely new. Which also makes me wonder that if Teresa knew Misty was strung out why she didn't go get those babies, especially when she knew Misty couldn't handle it.

:furious:Hello!!!!!!!!!!!! Why is NG not asking Art more about Misty not wanting to babysit Haleigh that night and her calling Ron's mother???? I can care less about what they are eating in jail and her skipping everyone that wants to put Ron in the spotlight, unless they feel he is a grieving father. What if TN or GGMS came over and got the kids or Ron? Maybe that is why TN slipped early on and said she sent someone over to the MH. Then the story of GGMS bringing laundry came to light. GRRRR:furious:

IMO it all plays more and more into the drug overdose for HaLeigh.

Misty was in no mood to babysit and there was talk about a major ongoing row with RC over it that ended in Misty not answering Ron's 20+ calls that night.

If HaLeigh was too playful and Misty was too tired makes me think Misty drugged HaLeigh and being dopey maybe had accidently given HaLeigh an oxy instead of kids medicine.

It was said way back that Ron talked to his friends daughter and she told him that Haleigh was with a guy name Larry. TC Sr. called Tim and said that Ron called him and told him that if he had $35,000 he could get Haleigh back. Tim had a check made out to Ron from a source if Haleigh was returned, but no return of Haleigh.

Yes, I personally think that Misty had issues with HaLeigh, the key one being major jealousy.

Misty wanted to be Ron's only focus and tried to trick him into marriage with the fake pregnancy thing, IIRC.

That is a good point, IF Misty did call her. If she did though, it at least makes sense of GGM going over there to bring "laundry"

I was confused at first too so I replayed it. I could still be wrong though becase Art Harris can be ambiguous with his fact reporting.

I got the impression it was pointing more towards Why didn't Teresa babysit that night?! She wasn't at werk. She lived relatively close so far as we can tell.

Same for Annette - if it was convenient enough for Ron to go pick up Haleigh's fave shirt on the way to school, and for her to drop off laundry, and they all knew that Misty had been on a 3 day binge, why not have GrAnnie babysit?

IDK - funky math going on here - nothing adds up.

I am sorry I don't have a link, I think it was on a CBS 47 interview in the beginning of the case. TN had said that Misty had taken off on Ron before in one interview, in another she said that she had sent someone over to check on her/the kids...not sure if she meant that night or previously. Then the story of GGMS bringing laundry came out.

Tonight Art mentions that someone in Misty's family said that Misty did not want to babysit that night and she called Ron's mother to come over and babysit. Not sure who wanted to pay who for the babysitting. NG just ignored Art and went on to play old tapes. I now wonder if Misty and Ron's fight was over Ron's kids, not her brothers. Remember, it was said that the fight was over Ron not wanting her to go babysit for her brother's kids that night...I have hope! Dry up Misty...start talking, because it seems that the opposite of what Ron says is what Happens.

No, it was only speculation from another post about MC wanting to "keep the weekend party going" that night or she'd crash.
