Point of interest-The hospital where WN was transported yesterday was Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital. It was the nearest hospital. This facility is a 16 (yes, sixteen) bed med-surg hospital.

It's funny how we (I) assume things. When they reported he'd been transported to a hospital, I pictured a huge facility with a psych ward and plenty of forensically trained psychiatrists/nurses on board who would evaluate and treat him, stabilizing him with appropriate meds. I suppose this small facility still would've consulted or called in a psych, though--no offense to tiny hospitals. It's just that I envisioned him getting some really in-depth evaluation and a med regimen that would equalize him. I failed to take into account that maybe he was hospitalized for merely a physical ailment of some sort.

Sadly, being an incest survivor, I feel like I have the answer to that question. The urge to rape a young child in the home is often impossible for some pedophiles to resist.

Sometimes I think the only reason my uncle didn't kill me was because he like the convenience of having me sleeping just down the hall.

I am not surprised that WN is not cooperating. This is a sick individual. That behavior is completely in line with schizophrenia. If, and that's a big "IF," he knows what happened to Celina, then that is probably a trigger for a psychotic episode....especially as they got closer to the discovery of her body.

WN's obsession with sex is very evident in his FB friend list. "Obsessions" with distant people is common...he may actually have believed these women were his friends. He may have believed that he was in love with them or that one of them loved him. These unrealistic fantasies are part of the illness.

What I am trying to be careful not to do is let my mind stray where perhaps it shouldn't go so soon.

Just because the step father is schizophrenic does not mean he may have harmed Celina.

This is a great question and one that I can't shake! They claim they Celina was discovered in a routine search...but I just don't believe that. They went directly to spot where she was located. Something had to tip them off. What was it...and why did the AG lie about it?

As far as WN not being cooperative. Look at the video yesterday with Amy while he walked. He was not answering all her questions to well. So I think we can have a picture of what he is probably doing with LE. (Just my opinoin)

After a week of trying to find the "needle in the haystack," it was quite a feat to locate the body, IMO. I was stunned when she was found. I had been thinking how rugged that area is and how she the chances of finding her were greatly diminishing. Yet that morning, for some reason I thought there'd be a break in the case. I don't think it was just happenstance or that they sort of stumbled on her body. Surely it was a detailed tip of some sort, don't you think?

A source tells WBZ-TV’s Karen Anderson that Wendell Noyes, the stepfather of Celina Cass, has been questioned by police, and has been uncooperative.

I read a very gruesome thing in this thread yesterday. Someone said there was a report that there was a large group of black flies hovering together in one spot, right above where the body was found. Could that be true?

That dam was only 1/4 mile away from the home so I can see why they might send a dive team there. But maybe the flies [ if true] told them where to look.

I have seen flies do that where there are a lot of dead fish. There was a problem with algae and a lot of fish died in the lake by my parents mountain cabin. And there were so many flies buzzing the top of the water it was too annoying to even sit outside.

I understood that they were routinely seaching all bodies of water...other ponds, etc.

If they were lead to that location specifically, they have not given that information yet, as far as I have read/heard...

I thought that they found her body while searching the river because it's nearby. Is there a link to the divers going to one specific spot instead?

I think it may have been just deductive reasoning. The river flows south and if anything was placed or fell into the water north of town it would eventually flow south with the river and bump into the dam. At that point the submerged object would just stay there.

I'm also interested in the announcement that the autopsy could not determine cause of death. It should have been relatively easy to determine if she had drowned. This could strongly mean she was dead when she went into the water.
