Where is HLN getting the info that she was found wrapped in a blanket? I can see where people might think that if they saw the pictures of her being taken out of the water, but are they saying that she was wrapped in a blanket underwater when she was found?

I also wonder why CC & her brother ALjr seem(ed) to
be close to their bio-dad, but KL (CC's sister), isn't.

I wonder where she is when other family members are
gathered together
... or maybe I've seen her, but just didn't
recognize her. The only photo I have in my mind at the moment,
is her FB profile photo.
bbm
I haven't seen much of CC or KM in any of the photos. I was wondering the same thing...

Here is where I am coming from. This 23 yr old had his truck taken in to forensics on the first day of the investigation. It is still impounded. Also, he did some prison time for a felony. He lives with Celina's family so he was possibly present when she went missing. He is not a relative and has not grown up with her her entire life, as the other older brother has. Given all of that I think it is wise to be somewhat suspicious.

The comments I made about his horseplay were in response to someone elses statement. They said she looked comfortable and seemed very close to him.
My reply is that it can look that way to others, even if there is ongoing sexual abuse taking place. My relationship with my abuser was complicated because he did 'love' me and pay attention to me. He rough housed and kidded around in public. It would have looked like I was very close to him as well. But looks can be deceiving.

You are correct that sometimes things are purely innocent. My 23 yr old son rough houses with his little sister too. They are very close and it is all in good fun. I get that. I just want others to keep in mind that 'sometimes' things are not what they seem.

I understand completely. If my post gave some offense I appologize. As an adult male who often works closely with kids for a living this constant 'cloud of suspicion' hovering over men is a touchy subject for me.

Adam Laro, Celina's biological father, says he is concerned about Celina's stepfather Wendall Noyes’ behavior since she vanished and was then found dead in the Connecticut River.

“Thing started to become different…something was weird - something was strange but I couldn't place it. Something was strange,”
said Adam Laro.

The brother and mother of Celina's stepfather said he is not doing well and asked the media to leave him alone.

I would think that given this kind of stress, even if he were on meds, could cause a relapse. it would be expected...and then all of his worst nightmares would come true,, everyone looking at him, spying on him, following him, accusing him,,, his paranoia would be extreme naturally. there is no way this man can handle something like this the way that others can...i can understand his not cooperating with police, he is probaby scared to death....this kind of thing would send any mentally ill person, regardless of whether or not they are on meds into a complete tailspin..as i said before, all of their paranoia and worst fears have now come true,, in their world everyone has always been after them...but now they really are....it's actually very sad....having said that,, i have no idea if he is involved or not...but either way, i would expect his behaviour to be exactly like this...

jmo, but i live with someone who experiences this nightmare every day..

There is no evidence indicating a male committed this crime (if there was a crime). We've got very little to go by, and I think the females shouldn't be ruled out because of their gender.

Were you the poster who talked about women and disposal near water yesterday? If so, do you have a citation or a place I can read more about that? (If you didn't write that but you have any ideas, that's cool too.)

AG doesn't want to release COD. Ok....then why keep teasing with statements like, "COD will be released later today"? Setting up a presser....then, oooopsy....can't tell you COD. :waitasec:

Did Celina die of natural causes? Suicide? And, someone decided to make it look like a murder?? :innocent:

Jane Young NEVER said they would release the cause of death.
Jane Young scheduled a new conference to discuss the autopsy results when they were completed.

The MEDIA is the one who interpreted that to mean they would be releasing the results. I said there is NO WAY she will do that!

Just like Jane Young said cause and manner of death is PENDING.
The MEDIA are the ones who took that to mean they can't find one and need toxicology.

I am a bit stunned that the media in New Hampshire hasn't caught onto her... I actually think, maybe they have and just go along with her?

Well it is pretty clear to me that LE believes someone from within the home killed Celina. They seem to be concentrating their efforts on the home and vehicles. Would be nice to know exactly who lived in the home on a regular basis, vs. who was staying there that night or in and out in recent weeks and months.

I still do not believe any LE told Mom not to talk to media. MAYBE they told her she did not have to talk to media. I just don't believe this is something LE would say.

Jane Young asked the media to leave Krista Dittmeyer's family alone. They were pretty good about respecting that.
I would think if she didn't want this family talking to the media she would do the same thing. Maybe she has asked them to, in private.

Believe it or not, since she is no longer missing, I say "Good! let them spread misinformation!" Hopefully it will make the person or persons who committed this crime feel comfortable and think that LE doesn't know what is going on. Get nice and comfortable and cozy. Relax a little and stop looking over their shoulders. Comfort and the belief that LE doesn't have a clue makes them more likely to slip up.

I really think this is Jane Young's entire strategy. I don't know that... but I think it is. She wants people to think they don't know. So they get a false sense of security.

Like people who think they can't be arrested without a body. Let them think they are going to get away with it... give more time to investigate without as much concern about the suspect panicking.

I have to wonder if Celina was wrapped in the blanket and placed in the green garbage can that was taken with the silver truck by LE. JMO

someone posted a citation upstream... sorry I'm too bleary eyed to chase it down for ya.

I have NOT at all ruled out a female whatsoever!

I think the media knows her. I think the reason they report the way they do is for ratings and to attract viewers more than to "go along with her" imho.

Probably here:

I am told Celina was wrapped in a blanket when she was found.

I get where you are coming from. And I think plenty says he may be the suspect. But here is contrary evidence to that.
He was the first one questioned, and they questioned him a long time, then released him. Rumors on FB do say that he took and "passed" a polygraph. His truck, and the clothing inside was of extreme interest, early on. Since that time, they have focused on a different vehicle as well (maybe because they couldn't find anything after tearing his apart?)
He is described as having lived with CC as her brother, and my interpretation of what I read on FB is that he lived with CC and her family since his Dad and LN were involved. He may have only been living there "a little while" recently because he was in prison for awhile, and may have moved in recently when he got out.
He has no record of violent criminal behavior.

The Noyes family, OTOH has several known SO's. I think that history gets me more suspicious so far than KM's does. But, jmo. Either way, I think it's all a guess right now until we have more to go on.

Yes, the Noyes family interests me as well. I do wonder if the stepson had easy access to the home. Did he hang around there often? Was he close to Celina ? Lots of questions there too, especially with the RSO's.

It is all just guesswork. I really have no idea. I guess I just reacted to the amount of attention she gave KM in her FB. My daughter loves her older brother too, but there are not that many pix of him on her FB. Just a few here and there. I just found it odd.

And then of course, him moving in after being released from prison. I did wonder if he had gotten messed up in there somehow. Maybe came back a different kid. I know it can happen unfortunately.

But like you said, he was questioned and released. And they are sniffing around elsewhere. So he may be an innocent victim like her entire family.

so the silver truck belongs to the SF?

  • #336
so if im getting this right, she would have been 12 in jan, so probably starting 7th grade or at least 6th grade...i could deff see her going out after her parents went to bed to meet friends, i know i did...all my friends did, we would meet on the corner and sit talk etc...especially living in a very small town, where every one knew everyone you would feel safe doing this...didn't i read somewhere here that on her facebook she had written something about liking someone or something similar to that...and also that some time before she had written about going for a walk and it was later, i'm guessing maybe that wasn't unusual, and perhaps a hint to her friends to meet outside...ya never know..kids are kids, it would not be unheard of, and would not make the parents bad, they probably didn't know...

jmo

Celina would have entered fifth grade this school year:

The reward would also cover information leading to the arrest and prosecution of anyone responsible for the disappearance of fifth grader Celina Cass, Supervisory Special Agent Kieran Ramsey said at a news conference at the Stewartstown Community School.

Unfortunately, it wasn't me - and I can't remember if that was at the end of the previous thread or at the beginning of this one. Hopefully someone else will be able to chime in with that info for you.

I'm not sure who owns the silver truck, only that LE took it.
