I was gone most of the day today and came home and turned on HLN news to hear the news about Celina. I heard that her body was wrapped in a blanket when found, that police were questioning her stepfather and that he was being uncooperative during questioning, and that the silver truck at the house was being hauled away and impounded. I wonder if the police know who the blanket belonged to or where it came from. If not, it seems like if they described it and showed a photo of it, that people could probably tell them who had a blanket like that, where it is sold, how common it is, etc. I wonder if it came from Celina's bed or house. Her mother and sister would know that probably. I wonder why the stepfather is being uncooperative. If he didn't do anything wrong, I don't know what he'd have to lose by being cooperative. Unless, his lack of cooperation is a result of his mental illness that might not be treated at the present time. Does anyone know who owns the silver truck? I just have a feeling that someone real close to Celina killed her and took her to the river and dumped her in. Since Celina only weighed 95 pounds, I would think that one strong person could carry her to the truck and put her in, and later get her out, carry her to the river, and dump her in. I was very surprised that the autopsy didn't show the cause of death. I thought it would. When do toxicology tests come back? Have police been questioning the other man that lives in the apartment house that Celina and her family lived in? Has he cooperated? Did he get along well with Celina? And did he and the stepfather get along? It would seem like Celina's sister could tell police a lot about the family dynamics.
I hope an arrest will be made soon and that more details will come out. I also wonder if Celina was sexually molested because that would tell more who is likely to have killed her (after using her to suit his purposes). I hope whoever killed Selina isn't someone who is out looking for more girls to use and kill. I'll bet nobody (female anyway) feels safe in that town right now. I hope and pray for justice for Celina and for no more victims.
