I figured LE or the CI team did that but, what do you suppose is under the tarp...looks like more than just an empty flatbed...something big?

I thought I heard there was a garbage container in the back of the truck.

I was gone most of the day today and came home and turned on HLN news to hear the news about Celina. I heard that her body was wrapped in a blanket when found, that police were questioning her stepfather and that he was being uncooperative during questioning, and that the silver truck at the house was being hauled away and impounded. I wonder if the police know who the blanket belonged to or where it came from. If not, it seems like if they described it and showed a photo of it, that people could probably tell them who had a blanket like that, where it is sold, how common it is, etc. I wonder if it came from Celina's bed or house. Her mother and sister would know that probably. I wonder why the stepfather is being uncooperative. If he didn't do anything wrong, I don't know what he'd have to lose by being cooperative. Unless, his lack of cooperation is a result of his mental illness that might not be treated at the present time. Does anyone know who owns the silver truck? I just have a feeling that someone real close to Celina killed her and took her to the river and dumped her in. Since Celina only weighed 95 pounds, I would think that one strong person could carry her to the truck and put her in, and later get her out, carry her to the river, and dump her in. I was very surprised that the autopsy didn't show the cause of death. I thought it would. When do toxicology tests come back? Have police been questioning the other man that lives in the apartment house that Celina and her family lived in? Has he cooperated? Did he get along well with Celina? And did he and the stepfather get along? It would seem like Celina's sister could tell police a lot about the family dynamics.
I hope an arrest will be made soon and that more details will come out. I also wonder if Celina was sexually molested because that would tell more who is likely to have killed her (after using her to suit his purposes). I hope whoever killed Selina isn't someone who is out looking for more girls to use and kill. I'll bet nobody (female anyway) feels safe in that town right now. I hope and pray for justice for Celina and for no more victims.

In this case, C's body likely wrapped in a blanket may indicate her demise was caused by someone who had a close relationship to her.

Probably examining the truck for fibers from the blanket, IMO...

Notice the rope tying down the tarp goes through the rim of the tire...
It would be impossible to drive like that...

Would be impossible to even roll it up onto the truck platform...

Actually, I forget what was wrong with my car at the time, but for whatever reason, the wheels were locked and they actually tipped the bed toward the ground, chained the frame, GREASED the tires with some sort of lubricant, and dragged/slid it up. I'm guessing they did something similar here.

Someone appears to have taken advantage of Celena's sister's absence that evening (at a sleepover) and the recent moving out of the couple from the house 3 weeks ago.

Or maybe the tarp was tied down after it was put on the truck to keep it from blowing off.

The AG said that there is no reason for the town to be nervous for their safety....that is paraphrased. I heard it on one of the pressers. So that would mean that it wasn't random.....

Maybe, or else they tied the tarp after they loaded the truck and before they got under way.

If anyone suffering from severe mental illness, I had been thinking a psychotic episode, but I'm considering could be an opportune moment presented itself.

I just posted the same. Makes sense to me.

"Stay vigilant" is what I believe was said.

Just got home from work a short while ago and checking in-between chores. Any news released yet?

Celina's mom in happier times. It appears that Lads and Ladybugs is more than just "work" but that she may be co-owner:

"Retired Canaan third grade teacher JB left, and Louisa Noyes, right, opened a consignment shop in Stewartstown, Lads and Ladybugs, across the street from Solomon’s Store. The store
features clothing for adults and children, as well as toys, books, movies, games, shoes and winter apparel. D J photo."

Sorry, snipped name.

Yet no reason for heightened alarm. Probably points to Celina had a close relationship with the individual.

Let me preface my comment by saying I think this is highly unlikely. However, what if someone did talk her out of the house, asked her to bring a blanket, or brought a blanket telling her they needed one to sit on down by the riverside so they could talk?

One time someone asked me to go on a "picnic" at night by a river, bought some food and drink and it was romantic, that is, until some guys came walking through the woods armed with guns saying they were out hunting.

I wonder who made the obit, and why no mention of KM, if he was thought as a brother to her?

Does anyone else find it odd that there is only one page of online condolences? This is purely an observation given all the attention and fb pages etc... I guess I am thinking there would be pages and pages . JMO (and I don't know what I am actually thinking...)
