I really had my money on a different him. But now I don't know what to think. Thinking maybe I need to go to the ATM, because I need to place bets in more than one place.

My bet is going in ONE place. I only bet on a sure thing. :innocent:

Jane Young will figure it out, make any arrests needed and get Justice for Celina.

There WILL be Justice for Celina.
That is where my bet is. It will restore our faith in justice just a little bit.

Here is a comparison of pictures. While there has been no obsession on my part with the picture with the hat, I will share with you that the first thought that crossed my mind on viewing the picture was that she was either on drugs or was drugged when the picture was taken. There is no life in the eyes at all ... no spark as is evident in the other pictures of her. I don't think the picture was photo shopped.

She doesn't seem the type to be on drugs at age eleven to me but you never know.

Her eyes in the hat photo do seem blank compared to the other one but I think the shadow of the hat cast on the upper half of her face contributes to that. The shadows under her eyes make her look like she didn't sleep for days or that she's got bruises on her face. In the other photo there is a sparkle of light in her eyes and it makes a livelier look. Also her cheeks look more sunken due to her non-smiling expression

The hat photo looks like it's been taken very close and IMO it's possible that it had a red eye effect and she wanted to edit that out. IMO her left eye is oddly shaped in the photo and it could be because someone did red eye correction. I think some of my photos look a little weird because of that and none of my children are on any drugs whatsoever.

Stewartstown, NH was founded in 1770. The house that they lived in appears to be an early Queen Ann (1880, but it could be much older) which have with low ceilings in the basement, stone walls, and stone or brick floors in the basement. (The kitchens were not located in the basement.) The stone or brick floors can be swept with a hard broom, but they are never "clean". I doubt the basement was finished. The low ceiling height and radiator pipes would have been a big factor in never finishing the basement and especially the basement ceiling. The basement would not have been originally heated, but if the boiler for the radiators was located there and if its pipes were uninsulated (very doubtful), it would provide heat to this area even though there were not radiators. Even in the summer, the basements in Vermont and NH remain very cool, like a cave, with temps in the 50s-60s. The ceiling to floor height is always 10+ feet on the first two floors, but in many of the third floors the height is low and with the slanted eaves many third floors are not finished. Expensive homes of this age have frequently had the ceiling raised on the third floor and then the room was finished with drywall and etc...

*I am not a realtor :D. I have lived in NE Victorian homes.

Celina Cass’ grandfather demands justice: ‘I don’t want no Casey Anthony’

“I just hope justice is brought and whoever’s responsible gets the max because that little girl didn’t deserve that,” Wally Laro told the Herald yesterday. “I don’t want no Casey Anthony.”

Celina was last seen around 9 p.m. July 25. Debbie Baglio, who lives steps from Celina’s home, told the Herald yesterday she called police to report Celina missing the next morning after Celina’s older sister, Kayla, 13, came knocking to ask whether she’d seen the girl.

Baglio said she rushed to Celina’s home to find that the family had not reported the disappearance.

“I don’t know why they didn’t,” said Baglio, who has three daughters about Celina’s age. Celina’s mother, Louisa Noyes, “was hysterical” over the girl’s disappearance, Baglio said.

Laro said his son, Adam, Celina’s father, had tried to see her and her sister several times over the past year, but their mother usually told him they were busy or not at home.

Two things concern me.

1) The stepdad's truck was only picked up yesterday. Why didn't they seize it the first time around. Didn't they do that with the red one?

2) The inconclusive autopsy report. I realize there are other tests pending but I believe if it was suffocation or if she was raped, the results would have been known. There seems to be no COD and that worries me.

Circumstantial Evidence cases scare me now. Never did before. But after Casey Anthony, well.........I think some of us lost faith in justice.

Praying it won't be the case here.

Does anyone know WHO was the last person to see her at 9pm?

Maybe. And maybe I am on the wrong track. But I made a detour from the train heading towards the SF and aimed it towards the family friend instead. I am just speculating, based upon things I have seen and read. And it appears that LE had some of the same suspicions. I don't think his truck has been returned yet. But I could be wrong.

Just look at the facts as we know them to be that night. No evidence of a break in. They said they did not think she ran away. Who was left inside that house? The parents were both together in one bedroom. They alibi each other.

So the only person left is the 23 yr old family friend, who is sleeping in Celina's old bedroom. Sorry, but I find that bothersome. He was not just staying for a weekend visit, he moved in permanently. So he is an obvious person to look at for this crime, imo. Sadly, the main motivation behind the murder of an 11 yr old is sexually based. Nobody has ever said he was a pedophile. Just that IF HE WAS, he would have the perfect opportunity. And it was his rotten luck to be in the house that night. imoo

I am so far behind all of you, but you really could be onto something....

Who knows if it is the truth, but LE has said that family members did pass lie detectors.... I guess he could be lumped in there because he is family-like, but maybe not.

LN ran a consignment shop---the epitome of giving second chances, and trying to look for the good in things, to make things work. I am sure she was a loving mom and she wanted to mother those in need, like her new husband, and her ex-bf's son. But sometimes it takes more than love to fix someone.

Excellent observation, Katydid. As a "rescuer," even her home was like a consignment shop for recycled people! Her unsuspicious nature may have been what attracted certain types of guys. Some people who operate on the right side of the law find it hard to think like criminals or those who have shady motives. My theory has been that the mom is doing lots of post-crime adding of two plus two. I wonder why she and the SF are still together, though. If as a mom you thought either the SF or NN did something, wouldn't you separate yourself from them as far as possible and squeal everything you know to LE?

Since the Casey Anthony trial I too no longer look at things in the same light.
I can no longer say 'justice will be served" because now I have no idea if it will or not and have lost much faith in the system. I can only hope.

The several Victorian homes where I have lived in the North all had millipedes in the basement. I can't imagine making little girls sleep on air mattresses on the basement floor and especially with these things. They are huge and very fast.

We have these in our house, and NONE of us (kids and adults alike!) wants to be anywhere near them! My husband still talks about the time he was downstairs in the family room, working on the computer, and he felt, and then saw, one crawl across the tops of his toes....

Until I hear the AG herself actually say the words "Autopsy failed to show cause of death or manner of death, there is no COD," I'm not going to worry. She never said that. The only people saying this is the media. AFAIK, the AG did NOT say anything other than the results of the autopsy are pending toxicology. This doesn't mean they're clueless of COD and MOD. This is this AG's MO when working a case.

I'm not surprised they haven't released details of what they did or didn't find ... results are pending. And they may know if she was or wasn't raped, but that is not COD or MOD so I can understand why they'd say nothing in those regards. :twocents: :o

For the hundreds of investigators working on the Celina Cass case in West Stewartstown, N.H., putting the little girl's tragic death out of their minds when the investigation is over could prove challenging. Provetto says incidents involving children rank fourth in job-related stress, behind killing in the line of duty, losing a partner or having a near death experience themselves.

"They will always remember exactly what it was like for them," Provetto said.

Using the nebulous word "pending" may be a psychological ploy. The AG would know, I think, that everyone is engaging in speculation after that news conference that basically said nothing. Maybe this statement is designed to keep the perp off balance and everyone flapping their jaws until someone finally squeals about something. I think some posts have pointed out that Jane Young used similar wording about another homicide that was soon thereafter solved.

Do we have a source/link for this? I keep hearing this but I haven't seen it in any 'official' articles... :seeya:

Not anymore than what was already speculated by many here.

She thinks SF is suspicious. Doesn't believe he's psychotic. She thinks he's a psychopath and the rolling on the ground in front of cameras was a ploy to claim he's insane. Discussed his previous attack on GF, etc.

That TH from all the interviews I've ever watched of her calls every single person she refers to in a criminal case a psychopath. LOL. Just callin' it like I see it :)

Does anyone know WHO was the last person to see her at 9pm?

Like some other people on this thread, I'd like to know who was the last person/people to see her alive OTHER than SF and Mom. And when was that? Was the last public sighting of Celina the Friday before she went 'missing'? :waiting:
