In case anyone missed this, jury visits scenes of the case.

The same documents recount how Mazzaglia dragged Marriott by her feet down the dirt path at Peirce Island and how, after dumping her nearly naked body over the edge, he recalled hearing the water splash.

According to court documents, Mazzaglia wrote McDonough several letters where he provided her with false details about the case he wanted her to memorize. He also wrote letters where he indicated he wanted to frame Paul Hicock and Roberta Gerkin for Marriott's murder and for disposing Marriott's body and key evidence on the night of Marriott's murder on Oct. 9, 2012.

Court documents indicate that Mazzaglia also wrote McDonough that he wanted to flee prosecution by going to a country that does not have an extradition treaty with the United States.

McDonough is currently serving a 1 1/2 to 3-year State Prison sentence after she was sentenced for her role in Marriott's murder in July

He sent those letter through a fellow inmate that was being released. Court documents state that the letters to McDonough detail plots to attempt to frame Paul Hickok and Roberta Gerkin for Marriott's murder. Mazzaglia also allegedly talked about killing Gerkin.

SM is NO actor, he's a shabby excuse for a human being if I ever saw one. He got caught up in his own tales of darkness and (from what I've read today,) diminished Lizzie's murder and the cover up and seemed to think he could fool everyone. *sick*

I am finding it strange that he doesn't interact with his attorney's nor do they with him. SM just sits there and shakes, and his males attorney acts like he is just ready for this to be over. jmo

I read back over the thread last night as I didn't follow this case when Lizzie went missing. There sure were some interesting thoughts going on.

I didn't follow this case either back in 2012. I find especially disturbing the details about Roberta Gerkin viewing Marriott's body in SM's apartment after the death, (and not alerting authorities!)

I don't blame the defense attorneys for being blaze about this dude. Why do guilty people plead not guilty and go to such extremes to build a sham case? If I was a defense attorney I would want to defend innocent people.
