I know Kat was previously a Target employee but did she have to dress in their dress code for today? Maybe she was arrested while working and this was her only attire? ;)

Thought it might be her prison outfit, so bright.

Aroooooo! Temper, temper. Only in Florida can you get this kind of entertainment in court.

The cherry on top is the audience applauding the fisticuff dukeout. I believe the judge is a 60 year old man.

I tell ya the sun must be too hot on peoples' brains in Florida.

What are your impressions of her so far?

I almost started feeling sorry for her until they read that message she wrote.

I think she is far more culpable than is being portrayed.

Oddly the guards are not surprised at all, no reaction.

It's been in the upper 90's and sticky this past week. And yes, it seems to drive people mad.

Yea, I think you are spot on. She was clearly a willing participant and perhaps a bit jealous of the other partners he brought in. But, no shrinking 'Violet' here.... Ha, another good pun. :)

I didn't read/hear the letter--But I'm thinking State gave her too light of a sentence--that said I get that they need something since no body but I think she should have gotten a weebit more time and punishment jmo

I am interested to see the defense grill her. I bet they will have a lot of evidence to share with the jury about who she really is.

Although I do think Seth manipulated her. She was 17 and he was 28 when they met? That is a world apart right there.

It is so weird to me how the only one here that I find credible and innocent is the ex heroin addict.

The rest need psych evaluations.

London calling ....

Hi all, is the trial on a break at the moment, as in right now as I'm positing? I'm on the Wild About Trial website where I usually watch and the wheel just keeps going round and it's saying 'Please Stand by ..... ' It doesn't normally do that when it's on a break.

(if it is .... I can catch up a bit on yesterday's proceedings, the latter part of which I missed)

You are probably right :)

I had 1:20 in my head for some reason.

Thanks Schmaley.

It's 6pm evening here, so I'm guess 1.20 EST will be 6.20pm or is it 7.20pm?

What's the nearest big city to where this trial is being held?

I was thinking the same thing..something is off with the rest-like central casting? I keep hearing her say that she was more into acting/art things-flags go up for me. :moo:
