Concerning Kat, according to her plea agreement, nothing she says at this trial can be used against her. Based on new evidence, can she at some point be charged with murder?
I hope that can and does happen, I don't buy her story at all, after seeing her for these many days on the stand, I just don't believe she loved Seth so much she'd make up that story to tell the defense and try to save his butt by throwing her own under the bus. And it didn't last long before she started cooperating with the DA's office and threw him under a Mack truck. So much for love everlasting.
Anyways, that's what I think the defense's strategy is, prove to the jury that she's the liar they believe her to be and convince them that she was the 'main' killer of Lizzie and Seth is convicted of a lessor charge, or not at all. I still haven't decided on one scenario of how Lizzie died, guess I'll have to see what the defense puts on and see if they can make a cogent picture of what happened.
