Davey Jones' Locker? Really?
:giggle: It has been driving me nuts too Pops!
Davey Jones' Locker? Really?
I think I would've rather read here today than be there especially in the AM...then the video was played.
I sat across from her family and I have never been so heartbroken for anyone as I was for them. Especially when the "Davey Jones Locker" was mentioned. The horror/sadness on their faces was too much to see.
I think the jury is pretty tired of Kat. I actually saw a woman roll her eyes a few times at Kat's answers. They were very attentive especially during the video, which BTW I think buried the State's star witness. I have no idea what they can do to dig themselves out of this hole.
We sat with a bunch of law students and ate lunch with a couple of them. They have been following this case from the beginning. Most of them feel that at this point with no evidence besides Kat's testimony, Seth will walk free.
I have seen Barth in action before and I have to say that he is on his game in this trial. The jury likes him. I usually don't like defense lawyers but Barth is likeable and he is on the stage of his career. I really enjoyed watching him today!
About Seth~ He appears nervous but I also feel that he is upset, angry about what Kat is doing to him. There were more than a few times that he muttered under his breath when she said something. He is shaking all the time but someone said he was tapping his foot. A couple of times he looked very tired. I don't think there is any love between the 2 of them.
Kat~ Well you have all seen her but to see it in person, when she leaves and comes in is something. It's almost like she is a different person. She has had some coaching. When we got there this AM the Sheriff Department took her out of the holding cell (it's like a locked closet) and she was taken to a conference room just outside of the court where the State lawyers were. I think they have told her to wear what she does because it makes her look young, small and innocent. She looks nothing like she did at her court appearances during the deal. This girl is evil!
I am not sure if I am going tomorrow~ it was like watching paint dry for 6 hours
oh my goodness littleone......it broke my heart reading of lizzi's family's painI think I would've rather read here today than be there especially in the AM...then the video was played.

Seth blinks 75x per minute... and I've noticed... Kat, maybe four per minute... I can't keep my eyes open to try and match her. Deeeep.
Thanks so much! I hear it is an extremely small crowd. Is there even anyone behind the defendant?
Luv ya,
G
oh my goodness littleone......it broke my heart reading of lizzi's family's pain........
thank you so much for the recap, i felt like i was there:seeya:
eta......one question i had if you don't mind.......are any of seth's family attending the trial?
The AM crowd was small but the afternoon was fairly large. We were able to sit 2 rows behind Seth. (I wanted to sit there to get a feeling what his lawyers were doing, acting towards him and to watch him).
There are some reporters but I have a feeling that WMUR is representing ABC, there was someone there from either 48 hours or one of those shows but he said the topic was a bit risky for even primetime TV :floorlaugh: and the rest of them didn't have anything to identify them.
Behind the Pro's were family members and friends of the family.
What I found interesting is the way she is acting when not on the stand. The jury doesn't see this because they are brought in from behind the court. We saw it every time she came in from breaks.
There is no doubt in my mind, she was the controlling one in that relationship. When I first started this thread I explained that I had met Seth a few times over the years. I also have a very good friend who was in a romantic role with him for a local play. She won't talk about it however she finds it hard to believe that Seth could harm anyone. She was probably in 4 or 5 plays with him either directly interacting with him, having a role in the same play or directing him in one. He was also in the UNH Theater program with 2 of my former employees. The live in Seattle now but they also find it hard to see him harming anyone. They hung out with him often. I have often found that artist are quirky and odd (in a good way) and Seth was no different than those that he hung out with.
I just want to say that no matter what role he played in Lizzie's death, he needs to pay for it....I am afraid that he will get nothing....
I am very angry about Kat's deal as are many other people..I hope that the State pulls the rug out from under her. This woman is very dangerous and evil.
