Hmmm they wanted to make sure they were seen bringing stuff back into the building later...

  • #202
I can't believe they got across the apartment parking lot - not even that late - with a super-heavy duct-taped suitcase without a single other tenant seeing them!

  • #203
I think they were taking back roads to watch out for any cops.. Or what about cameras?

  • #204
If she shut off all the phones on the back roads, wouldn't the last pings all be in the same location?

  • #205
she was almost boastful when she claimed that the only thing she forgot was the sweatshirt

she truly is telling them a "story" [lie] moo

wonder if this is "bs logic"

God, this is nightmarish.

  • #207
physically and emotionally she couldn't help Seth carry her up the hill--yet she can dump her in the water--

  • #208
No remorse at all. Cold so, so very, cold IMO

  • #209
Think Hinkley is going to try to make her cry again after this is over? She sure isn't showing any emotional response while it's being played.

  • #210
How did they see all this? Are there lights at Pierce Island?

  • #211
Yes, they found pearls or beads or something along with her hair in the area where they said they were putting her in the water.

Do you know if any other evidence was found that confirmed that her body had been left in that particular spot Kat described?

Only watched a bit of this trial, it's too much for me. I have been following "light" by catching HLN a little bit here and there.

But, she is so narcissistic, I can't believe it.

Legally speaking, I should think that although she got a super-sweet deal and obviously has a problem with the truth, there is no doubt in the jury's mind that Seth is a murderer too.

he said one of us had to climb over t railing...and i was like, u need to do this...he ended up walking around...she landed in rocks below so we realized we had to get down there...

Isn't that strange? Didn't someone point out that there is a fence at the edge of the property to protect against falling into the drink? So she picked LM up and lifted her high enough to get her over the fence. And then go down and gert Lizzi off of the rocks and into the water and THEN cover her body with sea weed. Amazing recovery of energy...

Misplaced detail about the thong and where it got caught?

Does anyone recall how the FBI and police ended up focusing on Peirce Island so quickly? They were already looking for Lizzi there 2/3 days after they put her in the water there. Was it SM's confession?

sm told them and took them there. they asked him if he wanted a lawyer before they went to look for the body and he said no.

According to court records, Mazzaglia confessed to police that he “flipped Elizabeth's body over the fence and it landed on the ground on the other side.”

“He stated that he then threw her body off a small cliff into the water,” according to an affidavit for his arrest. “Mazzaglia stated he recalled hearing the water splash.”
