Hi all, I have been following quietly as this is my first trial on WS. I am flabbergasted by this overload of information. One minor detail Ive picked up on is the GJ test. today said SM instructed KM to get the duct tape. I vividly remember her rambling on during either direct or cross that she remembers thinking of the duct tape because of camp and the counselors would use it to close their suit cases. In any event, I'm believing the impeachment has nothing to do with a perjury charge and just creating doubt for the jurors. I can't see the State bringing charges on KM unless they lose and still I doubt they will. This case is so sad and unbelievable on all levels from the lies to the complete disregard of human life, someone who was supposed to be their friend. I hope Lizzie gets justice and her family can heal.

Timeline is probably accurate, only in regards to what can be verified by phone records. The phone records from Lizzi's girlfriend are not in this timeline which I think was three that went unanswered. Those texts could have clued these two into the fact that there was a trail leading back to their apartment.

He definitely had a plan, Kat knew basically what is was at least enough to be nervous about it. There are codes all over the place, perhaps Andi's text is also in code. These people who are into this slave stuff are scary people. There is a website called Slave Register. Pretty scary lifestyle. These idiots could have been into this deeper than they are admitting.

I think we can probably count out any and all of the stories we have heard so far. There is really no evidence only stories. We have four people who admit to being there and describing a murder, arrest all four and call it a day.

Well technically she is not on trial but if someone tuned in this past week....did not know much they would assume that she is...it must in some ways be confusing for the jury but I assume a foreperson will organize the deliberations and the first thing I would do is get Kat in perspective...the defense is counting on them not doing that. Hope this NH jury is smart.

She's not on trial, but her GJ testimony and current testimony are, in the way any testimony would be, seems to me. Either side may want to put someone on the stand to impeach her testimony... Oh, what a dream..

Good, good point, turaj, about the foreperson getting the poor jury, some of whom must be catatonic by now, re-oriented to who's on trial here.... Oh, that poor, poor jury. And I'll bet the judge is ready to start a drip in her arm. lol.

Good evening, Ociboys. No like button available but I really appreciate this post. You are right, I find it so disgusting how these people can talk about this like it is an everyday occurrance and never even think how their words are killing Lizzi's family. Horrible, horrible way to end a beautiful life.

We should make a list of the direct evidence as well.

Things like the clothes recovered from the dumpster and the hairs found, identified as lm's. As well as the beads and hairs found at the cliff in the park. The hard forensic evidence...

That is one part I do believe.

I am pretty sure that the text to the "friend" can't be a lie because LM's girlfriend was the recipient of the text saying, "I'm going to visit some friends in Dover" and her girlfriend supplied the information to the police. I'm going to go back and watch her LM's girlfriend's testimony, if it's still online, which I missed the first time around.

do you know what day and part of the day this testimony is?

State can use Mazzaglia's Peirce Island evidence

Women's clothing, a pair of men's underwear, a used condom, a condom wrapper and two pairs of gloves were found in the dumpster. Hair and pearllike beads were found on Peirce Island. Mazzaglia and McDonough abandoned Marriott's car at UNH's campus after the murder.

Brown also found that all of Mazzaglia's statements made after 7:20 p.m. on Oct. 12 must be suppressed. At that time, Mazzaglia told Sgt. Joseph Ebert of the New Hampshire State Police that Marriott was dead. At that point, he acknowledged the map he drew of Peirce Island was where he put Marriott “in the water.”

LM's sweatshirt was recovered from the dumpster by the apartment. Shown to the jury during BA's testimony. She identified it as the sweatshirt she had given her that past Sunday.

I can't believe they don't put a suit jacket on SM. He looks like a dressed-up bridge troll with that stupid vest.

Hey everyone  ---this week is Commencement week at work, so you can imagine I am flying between robes and hoods and whatnots. Way too busy to follow trial, but I see you are all in the frontlines here. Awesome. Justice will come soon for Lizzie <3

Question....Seth consulted the tarot cards about which attorney to use and mentioned some options...seems like one was private pay and then the public defenders. He also mentioned that if he used the public defender that would leave money for Kat and his mother...so when did our system allow people to use public defender if they have funds available and just want to save some $$?

Day 6 part 1
from the beginning.

8:51 LM to KM
I'm at the outer door

9:54 AF to KM
I'm at my grandpas tonight.

9:54 KM to Af
so, no hangout?

(near the end of the card game, switch to watching movie. Nearing end of 105 minute movie.)

10:28 We painting tonight?
10:29 Your decision I guess, if you have a plan. nervous.

10:47 call to rg
10:48 call to rg
10:49 call to rg

Snipped by me for focus.

My thoughts as of this moment....subject to change of course.

I think they did probably watch most of a movie.
AF text and canceled. I could see Seth being frustrated by this, and there's Lizzi sitting right in front of him. He stews on it for a bit and sends the painting text. ( I really don't think anything happened before the text, otherwise why would KM have answered "nervous"?) Then I think he/they brought up having sex and LM declined. Then the horror began.

I know I keep harping about the strip poker, but its really bugging me. Why is the pros so married to this " fact" when it
seems so implausible?

I'd like to know if there was even a deck of cards found in the apartment. It seems like if there were, they would've been entered in to evidence and possibly dusted for prints.

We haven't gotten to any of the physcial evidence yet, so unless they have the cards and her prints are on them, I think them playing strip poker is unlikely. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Ive wondered about the cards too. Is there any physical evidence besides the dumpsters and p.i. hairs and beads? I keep thinking the initial investigation may have been botched. The detective advised they were not investigating KM social media accounts at the time of arrest. Entire focus was on Seth.

AG seeks to unseal evidence in Lizzie Marriott murder case

About four hours in, Mazzaglia drew a map to Marriott and then drove with police to Peirce Island, where the next morning police found strands of human hair on the ground between the sitting area and the cliff at the top of the main footpath, according to the filing.

About 1:30 a.m., after Mazzaglia had led police to Pierce Island and told them that is where he had put her in the water, and after giving various stories about what may have happened to Marriott, Mazzaglia was read his Miranda rights and placed under arrest, the filing indicates. Around 3:21 a.m., he asked for an attorney. In a dumpster outside of the Mill Street apartment, police found women's clothing, red-stained tissues, a used condom, a pair of men's underwear, rubber gloves and work gloves.

LOL don't panic.....he only allowed a portion of it to be played.
She will be back on monday, but I don't expect they'll keep her up there much longer.
