Did Barth just say he had planned on 3 more days of re-cross?

Seriously? For some reason I get lost while he is speaking, and can rarely figure out what he is trying to say.

I don't think I can take three more days.

You and me both, Cuckoo!

:) When I learned about this crime I thought the girlfriend has gotten a sweetheart deal but deserved to be charged just like her boyfriend. I hate when one part of the couple gets to boo hoo and look beaten down to escape culpability and leave their partner hanging in the wind to receive the full brunt of retribution. I am sick of what I believe is a double standard.

Sooooo I am quite happy to see kat roast on the stand, for infinity if it takes that long for her to admit the truth. I don't see how the truth will set seth free but it may divert some of the anger for what was done to Lizzi from seth to the shoulders of kat. And if that is what the atty. Barth is attempting to do then I say he should proceed with everything at his disposal.

I don't think the jury should throw the book at seth because it can't touch kat.

Just hoping that Barths prediction of 5 more days of Kat won't happen! :please: And that we will be able to finally move on :please:

oh, I do. I like Barth, and the more he talks the bigger her grave is getting with the jurors. Of course I have the opportunity to watch it in archives, where the jury does not. So, in that regard, I do feel sorry for the jurors.

Just my opinion (because normally I don't like defense atty's).

I couldn't have said it better. May her plea agreement fall like a deck of cards (or a hand of cards). Pun intended.

Judge isn't going to allow the State to re-re-re direct!!!! That is something

  • #693
Given the tone of arguments today by Barth does anyone really think the jury will have the case early next week as the judge told the jury??? Judge is going to have to stop this at some time because she could be impeached from now to eternity.

We still have ALL of defense witnesses to get through (not to mention whoever else the state might call....I do not know if they will have anyone else).

Good morning BD, babe in the woods on the BDSM aspect here as well, I wish AstroKitty were following this trial, she could inform and enlighten on much of this subject for us, and separate the wheat from the chaff, as it were.

Hope they get on with it, I have to do some running around in about an hour.

Thanks, geev -:seeya:- you and me, babe-in-the-woods...

The Judge has ruled on the audio tape requests... the 'tarot card' call ... he doesn't see how its within the scope of re-direct... do its denied. Tape two, an additional portion of the 'little addiction' conversation that Barth claims that Kat is indeed interested in women .... the judge is allowing that...the third issue... a portion of the taped conversation between Kat and Gerkin... sounds like the Judge is allowing it, but the state is asking that it be an extended portion to include a statement from Kat in that recording that precedes the portion the defense wants to play per the 'rule of completeness' ... I believe Hinckley referenced that in that preceding portion Kat says something like 'I didn't do it.'
