Total up to 3 years minor. a walk in the park for what kat did.

Three sentences of 7 years each (total of 21 years). But all but 3 years of the sentences were suspended - meaning she will remain on probation for 21 years even after she is released from prison.

Barth really comes off as a jerk while questioning this witness, IMO.

I could not even tell you what has been said in about the last half hour (not proud of that, as a WS'r I am ashamed).
I wonder if the jury is feeling the same way?
Everything was so much more animated when Kat was on the stand, it kind of made you sit up and pay attention. The doc is good, but he doesn't engage me.

I think that is true also, but his testimony is necessary to counter the defense position that Kat was the manipulator and was the one in control.

Point taken. Thank you. Of course you are right. After 8 or 10 days of watching her I just want to dismiss Kat from my memory bank.

The only impression I would have as a juror is that kat is up to her neck in this rape, torture and murder but that her lover, best friend, the only thing she has, her world is just as guilty. He got her ok for the 'painting' to happen. IMO if kat had said no I don't know that seth would have proceeded with it. I think he wanted to but with out her ok I wonder if Lizzi would be alive today :(

I won't presume anything, CUCKOOHEAD. I have no desire to get into their heads. I'm just going by what has been presented in court.

This case is so distasteful - more than any I can remember watching - because the most important states witness is a co-conspirator, is also culpable, and is obviously not likable or sympathetic. I would imagine this is really difficult for the prosecutors.

Yes he does! I don't think he will be able to impeach the good Dr. imo

Ok, but you have to choose - Kat or Seth? Because the only way to get a murder conviction against either of them is to get the other to testify against them and a grant of immunity.

I can't minor4th. Really I don't know which is the bigger threat to society if free.

I understand LE arrested seth first. What evidence did they have connecting him to the murder if they hadn't gotten kat to come up with her story?

If they were smart enough to arrest seth, to separate the two hoping to force kat to admit to what happened then why the lapse in intelligence when they gave her the sun and the moon in exchange for her story?

Agree and may be a tad confusing for the jury. I hope they are all smart.

That's okay I will presume enough for the both of us.

And no body. This case could not have gone forward against Seth without Kats testimony.

Sure it could, they had Roberta and Paul's eyewitness accounts of seeing Lizzie there, dead, with bags tied over her head. They could, and should have imo charged both.

Good clarification. Some of us have had difficulty grasping her sentence.

Seth confessed to killing Lizzi when he was first interrogated.

Exactly. LE arrested seth before kat and her version/s of what happened.

I missed the Dr.'s testimony. Did he interview KM or is he just talking in general?

They could have then both claimed it was an accident, and there would be no way to prove rape since theres no body
