Added to DDP spreadsheet with a highest match of 92.3 cM
DDP's match sheet hasn't been updated on their site in over a year, but hopefully she has some better matches now.

A new Facebook post from Help ID Me notes that the DDP have found ancestral ties to Haiti for Bayonne Jane Doe.
Obviously a super hard case as it's coming up to 3 years since she was taken on by DDP.

Can somebody check rule outs for Bayonne Jane Doe?

I was checking missing girls with Haitian ancestry on Charley Project and came across
Tiffany Westford, who was kidnapped by her non-custodial Haitian mother from Amityville, New York. I know it is a long shot though. I hope Tiffany is alive and well.

I have kept up with the case for years ... Just not on here. I remember someone telling me as the forensic science teacher that her DNA had been submitted and they found a distant relative in the southern states but that relative didnt know of this missing person. I dont think anyone has touched the case since. The Hudson County Prosecutor has the case now...

The brand of shirt she's wearing, "Pascal Tex", seems to be extremely rare in the US, so much so that most of the Google results are about Bayonne Jane Doe herself. You have to search for it in quotes and then add the word "clothing" for any relevant results. The top result is the company's Facebook page, which says the company is based in Syria. Next is ImportGenius, a website that tracks shipments; the info I can see is limited due to a paywall, but it says there are only 6 deliveries for this company, possibly ranging from Nov 1 2006 - Oct 27 2019, although it also says that the company profile was last updated on Nov 10 2007. Details of one shipment are shown, also on Nov 10 2007 (maybe that's the most recent); Bayonne Jane Doe's remains were found a few weeks earlier. So there's a good chance that the brand was only sold in the US for less than a year before she was found, and possibly ceased shortly afterwards, which would narrow the window of when she died. The shipment of 461 pieces of clothing was delivered from Cairo to 64 Hobart St, Ridgefield, NJ (now a tennis court), which is only 19 miles from where she was found. (Coincidentally, one of the two people connected to that address also has a prior address on 21st St in Bayonne, blocks from the remains.)

I'd be willing to bet money that she didn't come from "anywhere in the Continental US"; she was local.

Same website... Another supplier, this time from Aleppo, made a shipment to the same Ridgefield address the month before she was found. It seems to be the only place they shipped to, at least at the time. The company seems to be non-existent now.

In 2023 her highest match was less than 100cM on the now-defunct DDP spreadsheet of matches.

According to the DDP page - last updated November 2025 - she is still Research in Progress. I guess we just need to wait for a higher match to pop up eventually.

(DDP's defunct?)

That's still pretty high. Give me the spreadsheet and I'll find her parents and siblings by the Super Bowl.

The spreadsheet is defunct and it only listed the centimorgans shared for the highest available match for each person. They stopped updating it almost three years ago now because there were too many cases to keep it always updated.
