<modsnip: quoted post was modsnipped> the 911 call gives away a greater command of English than she’s been showing. She seemed genuinely upset to me.
She seemed genuinely upset to me as well. Besides, as is often pointed out on Websleuths and elsewhere, there is no 'right' way to sound in a situation such as this! In past similar cases, the parent can also sound overly calm or in shock, not just distraught in that moment.

When you say “took off” do you have anywhere in mind? How were they going to get there, in the red van?

No. No where in mind unfortunately. Just ideas in the absence of any real information. It’s an unlikely scenario, I’ll admit, and reiterate no evidence to suggest that it was a student

If we go with a student, Id guess that if this were the case, the teen knows the area like the back of his hand. Knows secluded areas well. Maybe frequents them. Probably played in the woods as a child. I’d also think that they must live close. Maybe had seen Dulce often. Maybe that’s why she felt comfortable enough to come when waved to. I see residences line the back of the pond. There are probably more homes close by but I’m relying on google. Maybe he has a single working parent. Disabled parent. Lives with a grandparent. Said he was home when this happened, at a friends or still at school.

<modsnip: quoted post was modsnipped> no child should ever have to live through an kidnapping/abduction, and no parent should go through such a traumatic event.

I don't know if the Mom knows more or not. She's young, very young, to have a child that age. I think for her, where she doesn't appear to have custody of her two oldest children, it's more like a babysitting situation than it is mothering. She may mean well, but her maturity I think really speaks for itself in this awful situation. She could be innocent and truly be clueless. She's probably also tired a lot- pregnant with her third child in 5-6 years time, and she's only 19 herself- just a kid still in many ways herself.

Myself personally, I was like you as a mother, but even when I was on top of my children, two of my daughters were little Houdinis on separate occasions. One time, I was just tying my son's laces on his sneakers, and my oldest daughter, 3 years old, was gone when I looked up- and she was standing next to me just as I started tying his first sneaker! Kids can disappear so fast- even the most cautious mother in the world has a hair raising story or two of their children quietly sneaking away.
Yes, I don't think it's humanly possible to have your eyes on your kids at all times, especially with two or more. Unless you can make one eye go one direction and the other eye go the other direction.

A car must have been involved ? Or else the dogs would have found her, right ? If she was taken with a crowd, then someone knows

An awful lot of people, family and friends walked around the immediate area before dogs were brought in and also dogs do not track well over or through water and there is a lot of water surrounding the area she disappeared from.
There was a report that a bloodhound tracked something (her ?) for about an hour and then lost it but that was many days later and LE never said if they thought it was actually her.

Dulce’s mom stated that she sat in the car scratching off a lottery ticket and also to help her sister with homework. These were reasons she gave for not getting out of the vehicle and going to the playground with her children.

Let’s stop acting like parents didn’t ignore their kids before cell phones.

It’s been said on this thread numerous times that it’s not unusual, in this area, for parents to sit in their cars and watch their kids at the park. Even if the view is obstructed a bit.

I remember going to the park alone at a very young age with my younger. This is nothing new! Most kids aren’t abducted and most people don’t live their lives worrying about something as rare as a stranger abduction.

I’m also personally offended by this, as a dedicated fur mama to 3 and soon to be mama to a human, I think that it’s completely wrong to imply that she’s a bad mother because she took her eyes off her child in what she believed was her safe neighborhood. It’s my belief that we need to rally behind this family, not blame them.
Also... what frckibg lottery ticket are you talking about? This woman is in living hell right now.
The lottery ticket she admitted she was scratching when her daughter went missing. I feel for this young child and the grand parents who lovingly were raising her. Not so much for the mother who was not looking out for her children. I was a young mother at 18. Married at 18. My husband was a father at 19.( By 2 days) we have been married 40 years. We choose not to have more children,Not because we did not want more, but we felt we could give our son more than two or three children. I pray this child is found soon and brought home to rest for her grandmother sake.

Does anyone know what the district regulations are as to who is bused at the high school level and who has to walk?
In my town (Connecticut) for instance, 9th grade and up have a two mile limit. If you are a high school student within that limit you walk or at least the district doesn't have to bus you.

Do we know if high school students cut down behind the high school and through the park to cross over to the residential area on the other side of the Cohansey River, the area where DMA lived? If this was a common pathway for high school kids to walk home, they may have seen DMA many many times.

I believe the red suv to have been on Burt st. If that’s the case LE has video of all vehicles on Burt. That only leaves Babe Ruth in which case the abductor would have literally driven right by mom. Then left or right on scholastic. So, we must believe that there are not cameras on either babe Ruth or scholastic or they’d know who they were looking for. Maybe perp was on foot.

Link to map. We’ve all seen it a million times but just to refresh. Google Maps

While I think the AA was critical for getting Dulces face engraved in everyone’s mind, I am leaning toward the information being so off that it’s preventing someone with potentially important info from coming forward.
Yes, I agree. If the van was Burt st, it should have been on camera. But presumably it's not, since we haven't seen any videos, and police presumably would have been able to truck it down like the tracked down the SUV. So that lets me think there was no red van, and the child of tender years witness is off in what he witnessed. I realize they need a vehicle description to put on Amber alert, but if the description is really off, does it really help or hurt? Considering people start looking for a red van that probably doesn't exist?

They have searched the park a bunch of times. I don't think they were ever convinced of the red van story, considering it came from a child of tender years. They have brought a bloodhound also, and it tracked for a while, but I am not sure where it ended up.

Give the little brother drawing paper and crayons and ask him to draw a picture where Dulce went and see if he draws a RED Van or Car.

THE RED VAN WAS CAUGHT ON VIDEO.

Video del vehículo que se habría llevado a Dulce María
When I first posted this 2 weeks ago the video was very plain and easy to see the RED SUV with the tinted windows. The Video is blank now.

The red Van/SUV that was caught on video entering the park and 4 minutes later exiting the park at the exact time frame that Dulce went missing.”

I don’t get why everyone is picking the mom apart I’m a mom of three grandma to a lot of munchkins When my youngest was that age I was Nursing school and I spent a lot of time at the park with my daughter while my head was in a schoolbook a lot not always paying attention to my girl and I know I’m not a bad mom. I wish the victim shaming and blaming would stop no parent is perfect

That's not a red van, that's a compact SUV that has been specifically ruled out. That's why US msm deleted that video after posting it. That SUV has been ruled out. It's absolutely is not a red Van that is supposed involved in the abduction.

Red SUV. The question is Why Was It Ruled Out.

I can't follow this case anymore. This thread is painful to read, and not just because a child is missing. Jesus Christ. I hope Dulce is found soon.

Because police investigated it and ruled it out.

What is your latest thinking on where this precious child is? I'm still laser focused on the park, and don't think she is far from where reportedly last seen.

Please stick around and interact with those of us who are sincerely interested in coming up with any little tidbit or idea that may help find the child. Glad you are here
