Google Maps
It is easy to see how a van could have been parked behind the buildings beside the playground and not be seen by her mom. It is the direction that the 3 yo pointed to when his mom asked where she was.
The only way out of that position is down Burt Street and if mom wasn't watching, she would never have noticed the van leaving. Although the Google map shows no cars etc. there were basketball players on the courts who were interviewed so there was much activity around.
There must be cameras looking at the area where the van was parked to pick up such detail, right down to his shoes and where she was put in the van.
Several things jump out at me.
Her mom said she is very shy yet she went with this person without a struggle or a scream. Does she know him?
The van was strategically placed and she was taken very shortly after arriving at the park. This doesn't seem random to me at all.
Her mom called her brother initially to come and help look. Are there gangs in the area that he could be involved in and this is retaliation or a warning to him? Are people (basketball players) not talking due to fear of gangs?
