Police Seek Public’s Help Locating Missing Newark Woman Suffering from Bipolar Disorder and Depression

Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. seeks the public’s help in locating Jesscia Blair, 35, of Newark, who was reported missing on Friday, November 14, 2025.

Ms. Blair was last seen in the 600 block of Irving Turner Boulevard.

She is African American, 5’4” tall, 140 pounds, and reportedly suffers from bipolar disorder and depression.

No clothing description is available.

Her sister on FB stated her weight is not 140 as listed but 180 pounds. Court records show her weight as 220 pounds -summer 2025 (an 80 pound difference between 220 and 140 could change how she looks in person). Maiden name is Solomon, middle initial K. If this is her (correct name. hometown, and year of birth) she had two arrests on disorderly charges this last year, both being downgraded and moved to family court, the last hearing for which was Nov. 3. I'm attaching some screenshots of the court record info as it doesn't allow me to cut and paste data. The New Jersey court system website is a little cumbersome to find things (there's no easy way to explain using it, just takes some practice - also you must register, free, for civil records, but can look at criminal records without registering). Find a Case

Again, no picture with any arrest or booking info so not 100% certain this is her. But not indicative of anything from a court standpoint that would make her be voluntarily missing IMO.

Her family is working hard to spread the news - hopefully she will be in contact, so she can get the medication and/or care she needs to be safe.

THANK YOU! I have spent so much time with the other search engine for courts and found so little - that's a MUCH beter link, and seriuosly faster. I'll bookmark that. (now if only the PeachCourt site for the public worked better )
