The disclosure of military drones looking for a nuclear bomb would cause much greater panic and worry than just unexplained drones...
YepThe disclosure of military drones looking for a nuclear bomb would cause much greater panic and worry than just unexplained drones...
A drone has crashed into the ground in New Jersey
High population density, important cities to our nation's economy, military bases, east coast and accessible from the oceanIt's been suggested those are high population areas, so if this was a defensive maneuvers drill of some kind, it applies to that. jmo
Yes, turned out to be a big nothing burger. I'm starting to think they might be US drones. Is it this one:
"HILLSBOROUGH — Reports of a drone crashing near power lines Thursday night turned out to be nothing, according to police....
Rumors of drone crashes are regularly posted on social media but none have been found.

NJ 'drone crash' report prompts massive police/fire search in Hillsborough
Hillsborough police said they were notified around 8:35 p.m. about a drone witnesses said crashed near a Lowes store on Route 206.nj1015.com
It’s weird to me that if they were our drones, that our government would be announcing sightings in places I haven’t seen citizen reports. Could this be a case of the left hand not knowing what the right is doing? IMO MOO signing off for the night!“Drones were spotted flying over the U.S. air base at Ramstein in Germany in early December, a spokesperson for the U.S. Air Force said on Friday.”

Military confirms: mystery drones spotted over major U.S. air base in Europe
Not operated by amateurs, according to report.www.silive.com
It's a Federal crime to shoot at any kind of flying vehicle, manned or not.I also can’t believe that this issue wasn’t addressed after the issue with the Chinese spy balloon - which, IMO you are spot-on linking together). They should have anticipated that something like that could/would happen again and a response protocol should have been created. If this had been done - AND IT SHOULD HAVE!! - we wouldn’t be here and now scratching our heads trying to figure what should be done, when, who authorizes action, etc
Sorry (sort-of) if I sound a little frustrated, angry, etc but I LIVE here. I personally have not seen anything (but I also haven’t been looking) but I know (and believe) what I am hearing from people I know personally. Also, my daughter has a farm with 12+ horses in Evesham and security video (I think) from a night within the last week or two showed “drone-like” activity over the pastures and the horses reacting to the activity. Some horses didn’t seem to notice, others stopped grazing and stared skyward and a few actually panicked and started running around. Fortunately none of them got hurt!
My personal opinion? SHOOT ONE OR MORE DOWN!! Do so over as open of land as possible in order to reduce the risk of injury/death to life (human, animal, etc) as well as property damage. Then it can be investigated - by government AND independent specialists. Why do we continue to sit here and wait while potentially sensitive information could be being collected by God knows who and why? And why do we believe a Governor who says they (the drones) pose NO RISK TO THE PUBLIC?
IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE, WHO SENT/IS CONTROLLING THEM AND WHY - THEN HOW & WHY SHOULD/WOULD WE BELIEVE YOU THAT THERE IS NO RISK?!!
I understand that this is the current law, which is why I said this issue should have been addressed and a response protocol created after the Chinese balloon situation in the event of a similar situation occurring in the future. It's a Federal crime to shoot at any kind of flying vehicle, manned or not.
