How can he say that for certain, unless as I predicted, Mayorkas clued him in and told him to shut up?

Also clueing me in to the fact they are likely being launched from boats as @Warwick1991 suggested: ‘Most of the drones have been spotted along coastal areas, and some of the devices were recently spotted over a large reservoir in Clinton.’

I live in South Jersey and this has been insane. Every night there are so many drones flying over the area. It’s a bit unsettling, but I have to imagine if these posed any threat, the military would have shot them down.

I can only imagine how unsettling it would be! How long have you noticed the drones in your area, if you don’t mind me asking? The earliest sightings seem to be around 11/18

I live in an area where there is constant air traffic (planes heading to Philly), so it’s hard to say. It wasn’t until last week sometime that I heard something very loud, and assumed it was a helicopter. I checked my flight radar app and saw nothing, so I went outside and saw something and was confused. Then I started seeing all of the posts on the ring app about drones. People are posting about it every single night.

I was letting my dogs out last night and saw one in the distance. This one was quiet, or just so far away I couldn’t hear it.

Maybe they have, and are saying nothing. Or some concern of debris? But I’ve seen videos of them over wooded areas, so I think there would have been enough opportunity by now!

The absolute weirdest thing to me is that they’re also showing up in bases in the UK.

The mention of the reservoir is very concerning to me. I remeber back to the Iraq war and the mention of how easy it would be for them to contaminate our resevoirs.

Well, the world is at war. Whether we want to admit it or not. It's possible we are being scouted.

I haven't heard of anything here on the West Coast, but I suspect it is only a matter of time.

I don’t live anywhere near the drone sightings but I am very concerned about it and even more concerned that government authorities don’t seem to be taking it seriously.
Reminds me of the Chinese balloon fiasco.
My thoughts:
—These things have been in the news repeatedly over the last few weeks. If they were controlled by hobbyists one of them would have called in and said so and apologized and stopped by now. The fact that that hasn’t happened is red flag number one.
—The drones are launched by someone, controlled by someone, and when they land they return to that someone. Track them and follow them home! I have no doubt the US has the capability to do this, so do it!
—Shoot them down! They are a threat to our country! They are a threat because we don’t know where they’re coming from, we don’t know who’s controlling them, we don’t know their intent. Whether or not they are in free airspace doesn’t matter…they are a threat.
—Either our government knows what’s going on and doesn’t want to say or they don’t care. If they know, why would they not say? Too embarrassed to admit foreign countries are playing games with us?
Shoot them down! This is ridiculous.

We let those Chinese balloons drift across the entire US and over sensitive military facilities all while the White House/Pentagon said there was nothing to be concerned about. Then they shot it down as it was about to leave US airspace and have since come to learn that many in the military were very concerned about them from the beginning.

Yes, or there’s a ship in the reservoir where they’re launching? But they’ve also been seen over electrical stations and other infrastructure…

A New Jersey state senator is calling for a limited state of emergency over the mysterious drones that have been seen flying over New York and Jersey.

“The Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey -- a military research and production facility in Morris County -- has reported 11 confirmed sightings by a police officer or security guard in response to a report since Nov. 13”

Previously, I had seen 11/18 as one of the first sighted reports. 11/13 is significantly earlier. Interesting that it was at the arsenal.

Of note from the article: Some reports IIUC are saying ‘car-sized’ drones; the article itself gives a measure on the order of six (6) feet in length. MOO

Perhaps these drones are being launched from just outside US territorial waters, from a Chinese or Russian ship that's an altered freighter or fishing vessel. It would need some launch space, so would probably have some standard shipboard features removed. If the drones are size of cars, they probably have considerable range. They will have to return from their trip, so they need a round trip range to get them back to their launch area. US territorial waters extend 13 miles from shore, so from a ship to shore in an area like NJ with a lot of shoreline, a ship-launched drone can cover a lot of territory.

Some really strange stuff coming out of New Jersey. My first instinct is that they’re moving nukes and the drones are acting as surveillance - but then I guess their cover would be blown by now. What are your thoughts? MOO IMO

They must know who is flying them otherwise how would they know if they do not pose any threat?
They may seem harmless now, but what if they aren't?
I would want to know if they buzzing past my house every night wouldn't you?

I don’t understand why we can’t send helicopters up to just hang out with the drones. Hovering around with them until the drones head home and the helicopters just follow them back.
Doing nothing is baffling. We are better than this.
