My spouse and I were recently in Denver, Co (last weekend) and saw this same exact thing! I took a video of it, because it was absolutely wild looking, and the neighbors were arguing over it being a UFO. I am unsure how to post a video here.

I cannot fathom that these drones are part of some government testing, secret or otherwise. It would take an unimaginable amount of stupidity to conduct anything like that along the crowded northeastern shoreline.
If it is something they don’t want to tell the American people about then don’t do it in front of the American people!
That leaves foreign governments or private entities. Neither of these would be good for our country if they are behaving this way. Our government may know who it is and are too embarrassed to admit it. (Check back at Chinese balloon).
Shoot them down! They are not supposed to be here! Our government is supposed to protect us. If we do not know whose drones these are or why they are here, they should be deemed as threats. Shoot them down already! If the powers that be don’t do that, then should we think they are complicit?
This is maddening.

Agree @StarryStarryNight ….. which IMO leaves me only four questions.

1) Did we know the drones were here and what has been done about it?

2) If we did not know then WITH is being done now?

3) Who is leading the investigation and give immediate report outs on it. Now.

4) If there are no satisfactory answers to 1 and 2 above, WITH is being fired because of this? And I believe this should include both federal and state officials. DHS….. etc.

I am already of the personal belief they are not US based or part of some US based initiative, intelligence or otherwise. And the way the Chinese IIRC ‘weather balloon’ incidents were handled well, I better stop here. SMH. MOO

I like this list of possibilities that are not scary, but why wouldn't someone step forward to claim them? It's weird.

I thought the assassin who killed the CEO in NYC last week was foreign, but turned out he was all-American. So I'm not jumping to conclusions yet about the drones.

Someone in charge should be able to force them down or shoot them down. They are not harmless when they interfere with air space.

I still think it is more likely to be Russia or China. Possibly, it's some kind of message, perhaps to the President-elect, or just to us in general. A hostile message to remind him - or us - that that they can reach our shores.

Alternatively, we have to remember that we have spy flights over a lot of the world, and satellite surveillance as well. It is possible that the country that owns the drones is retaliating in some form to the overflight of one of our spy aircraft. We (the US) have our own drones, too. We're the pioneers of military drones...

I keep telling my family the same thing.... why in the heck aren't we shooting them down ?/
According to news from Land Security, Government and State of NJ officials, they have NO idea where these are coming from

So shoot them down.
