NJ - Mystery drones seen nightly

@BrianEntin

The runways at Stewart Airfield in New York were shut down for an hour last night because of drone activity in the airspace.

NY Gov. Kathy Hochul is asking Congress to pass a law that allows local and state law enforcement authorities to take action.

Naval Weapons Station Earle in NJ confirms “several instances of unidentified drones entering the airspace” above the naval station.

But they say “no direct threats to the installation have been identified.”

How do they know they are not a threat if they are unidentified?

Moo…. The “ballon” was a test… we didn’t shoot it down, traveled the entire US, until over the ocean.

Now drones invade neighborhoods, airports, and military installations, without military intervention. (Again, US tries to calm the fears of citizens)

What’s the NEXT test????

I do believe a nefarious entity is laughing in our face.

Moo…

You'd think governors could be told any "secret" that is happening in their states. Even governors don't know. So strange. imo

jmo

Here we go… citizens taking action.

….
Footage has also since emerged online showing what appears to be an individual firing at a drone with an airsoft gun as it passed overhead.

It remains unclear exactly where in the country it was captured, as drone sightings have since extended to at least 12 counties across the tri-state area.
….
On Friday night, Ocean County Sheriff Michael Mastronardy said his police department sent up a drone then disappeared into thin air.

His New Jersey force launched their own drone up after one of his officers saw 50 unmanned aerial vehicles 'coming off the ocean'.

LOL. Probably Amazon trying to deliver packages cheaper and faster.

Google using drones for delivery.

I think that it is technology, freaking people out.

As I was out shopping today I thought of that!

It sure looked like something from the Jetsons headed on its delivery errand.

Amazon will be like oh sorry didn’t we tell you.

All imo

I've been noticing a lot of regular hobbyist drones out in the northeast during the day but haven't seen anything like what people are describing at night. I don't think there is a danger from the drones themselves, but I think there's a reason the USA is opting not to interfere with them, whether they're our own or there's a game of chicken with a foreign entity.

They know, they know we know. Delay, reassure and hope they go away approach is not working the second time around.

What would happen if the government confirms a foreign entity and potential threat of a known or unknown payload?

Just thinking ….

Moo

Im thinking too...& just jumping off your post (thank u for it!)

What happens if IT IS THE GOVERNMENT???

WHY are THEY so dismissive????

''Unidentified drones have also been spotted over four Royal Air Force bases in England, which has prompted the British government to request military assistance, the U.S. Air Force said.

Air Force officials said that “small” drones continue to be spotted in and around the four British military installations since Nov. 20. None of the activities interrupted base operations, officials said.

In a statement, the Air Force said that the objects have ranged in size and configurations and that the U.S. Air Force is working with host-nation officials and mission partners to endure base personnel.

Reuters reported that drones have also been spotted at the U.S. Air Force base at Ramstein in Germany this month. Sources told Reuters that German officials have not determined who is operating the drones. They had, however, ruled out the possibility that the drones were operated by amateurs.''

This is what people have been saying in the US as well - that there are different types of drone. I think they have different purposes - radar, scrambling, nuke sniffing.

I don’t think that there’s any coincidence that Ukraine asked us for nukes not to long ago and then all this happens. As of 12/1/24, the US said they’re not ‘returning’ nukes to the Ukraine (US will not return nuclear weapons to Ukraine). Not returning the nukes they gave us 30 years ago does not mean we aren’t giving them different nuclear capable weapons…

I think that activity that used to be done on the ground is now being done in the air. Does anyone remember how long the US denied the existence of the nuclear train? (White Train - Wikipedia)

IMO, I think we may not learn what these are through official means, ever. If we do, it will likely be via whistleblower.

I work with people for a living, and personally, I think that we assume people are smarter than they are. MOO is that the average literacy rate is around 4th grade.
You are correct about literacy rates - the average US citizen reads at around a fifth/sixth grade level. Literacy Statistics 2024- 2025 (Where we are now)

  • 54% of adults have a literacy below a 6th-grade level (20% are below 5th-grade level).”

This is what I think is going on. IMO MOO

“The New York Times reported last week that some unidentified Western officials had suggested U.S. President Joe Biden could give Ukraine nuclear weapons before he leaves office.”
I don't think the flight patterns and behaviors of the drones suggest this. By now, the whole world knows about these drones, so all "stealth" and "covert ops" are essentially gone (as far as moving munitions is concerned). JMO
