State Police Issue Amber Alert for Missing 2-year-old Boy
The New Jersey State Police and Rahway Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance with locating Sebastian Rios, 2, of Rahway, N.J. and his mother, Yasemin Uyaf, 24, also of Rahway, N.J.

Yasemin and Sebastian are believed to have been abducted by Sebastian's father, Tyler Rios, 27, of Highland Park, N.J. earlier today.

Tyler is believed to be operating a 2018 silver Ford Fiesta with New Jersey license plates S34NVH.

Anyone with information regarding the location of Tyler Rios, Yasemin Uyaf, or Sebastian Rios is asked to call the Rahway Police Department at 732-827-2200.

Anonymous tips are welcomed.

Massive Search Under Way For NJ Boy, Mom In Purported Abduction

The three were in Ford Fiesta with New Jersey plates S34-NVH. State Police were tracking Rios' phone, which showed the vehicle was on Route 440 heading to Outer Bridge Crossing.

PAPD and NYPD were notified.

Rios is 5'9" with multiple tattoos, including his child's name, on his arm.

Police set up a perimeter that includes a block of residences around the home where the boy lived with his mother on Westfield Ave. Rahway detectives entered the home on Friday evening, and said it was an active scene.

Neighbors say they were stunned, and had not seen the father at the house, or heard any commotion earlier in the day. They said they have seen the mother and the boy, but they were pretty quiet and stayed to themselves.

The Union County Prosecutors Office is leading the investigating, but has not released other details.

CBS2’s Jessica Layton reported about a dozen Rahway police officers have been investigating around a home on Westfield Avenue, where neighbors said Sebastian and his mother live.

There was police tape around the entire block

Amber alert going off big time on all our phones in the house, all day. We are all the way down in Wildwood Crest, at the Jersey Shore, but I guess you never know, as he could be headed down the Parkway to anywhere.

If he was headed toward Outer Bridge Crossing though, he's headed into NY and lot of cameras coming and going on Staten Island.

If they're headed into NYC, that could be an absolute nightmare to find them, especially if they ditch the vehicle. That vast morass of humanity is going to be difficult to navigate once they get past Staten Island and into the inner boroughs.
