A 61-year-old Gouldtown man is missing and his best friend is trying to mount a search for him.
Walter S. Bard Jr. went missing from Bill Ernst’s home Oct. 6, and nobody has seen him since.

Ernst, who could not provide a picture Monday, but said he would obtain one from Bard’s family, described him as a dark-skinned Native American member of the Nanticoke-Lenni Lenape tribe.
He said he is 5 foot, 7 inches tall, about 150 pounds, medium built and with gray hair.
He may have a short beard, as it would have been growing since he went missing.
