Abortion is legal in New Mexico, and Alexee, at 19, is an adult. Was abortion available to girl? Were abortion pills available?
I think LE could have been a lot more assertive with the mom when they went to arrest Alexee. No reason for Alexee to keep them waiting, either.I think Alexee knew, but I don't think her mom did. Realize it's not a popular opinion/theory, but mom's "shocked" reaction in the video when the charge nurse (or was it LE?) confirmed that the baby was full term seemed like genuine surprise (to me anyway) and I'm guessing she genuinely believed Alexee that he was stillborn or at least not moving or breathing when he was born. (Which, months later, we now know via the autopsy report was false but its not ofd to me that mom would believe her daughter)
Mom's behavior or parental choices afterwards are strange though. Allowing Alexee to attend senior prom after lying for 9 months about a pregnancy....odd. Being genuinely surprised when the cops showed up at the house that her daughter was being arrested for murder and tampering with evidence....also odd.
I was posting before I saw that article. It gives a ton of info. Yeah. I think her pregnancy was beyond obvious.Yes, in the article Gardenista posted, her coach noticed, but Alexee explained it away by saying birth control pills were making her gain weight.
I ca n't believe the coach didn't inquire further for safety reasons, because it was dangerous for a pregnant woman to be jumping around like that. Besides, it seems the whole school was talking.
Apparently abortion is totally legal there with no restrictions. However, per Wikipedia, there are only 7 facilities that perform abortions down from 26 in 1982.Was abortion available to girl? Were abortion pills available?
Alexee had a mirror-expression. Just as shocked.I think Alexee knew, but I don't think her mom did. Moo.. the girl/woman had options..that would not have to of been oked by her parents, also safe drop offs would of been available.. So seems this was an unnecessary situation...mooAbortion is legal in New Mexico, and Alexee, at 19, is an adult.
I have a feeling those discussions were in the nature of pointing fingers and vilifying other young women who killed their babies, not any reference to Alexee.Alexee had a mirror-expression. Just as shocked.
Is it possible the mother is just a fabulous actress? I feel like there’s no way. The kid isn’t fat everywhere it’s just her stomach. And it looks exactly like a pregnant person.
Also, it’s interesting to me that the mom had discussions with her about other girls killing their newborn. I feel like she knew.
Since she was in labor for many hours (per her sister, she’d had excruciating “ back pain” a day and a half (?) before, she must have made a conscious choice to go to the hospital, and not have the baby at home. If she had him in the house, she ran the risk of mom overhearing cries and/or maybe she became frightened?Moo.. the girl/woman had options..that would not have to of been oked by her parents, also safe drop offs would of been available.. And she seemed more concerned with her daughter being caught, than with her grandson getting murdered by said daughter. Also, it’s interesting to me that the mom had discussions with her about other girls killing their newborn. I feel like she knew.
Her mother didn't hug or even touch her when she was being served the arrest warrant. So cold. It’s weird. That other girl who was acquitted for killing her newborn? I believe her mother totally knew she was pregnant and was trying to get her daughter to “get rid of it” in some way without revealing she had been pregnant. Her texts showed that, IMO.
It’s like some symbiotic thing where the mother is incapable of acknowledging her daughter is pregnant and/or “impure” for having sex and the daughter is incapable of acknowledging that she defied her mother, had sex and got pregnant.
This is the result.
This doesn’t happen, IMO, in families where the parents have an open relationship with their teens and reasonably talk about sex and birth control.

The DM article said her coach asked if she was pregnant and she told the coach, oh nooooo, my new birth control is making me retain weight. For that matter, did t her coach or teachers notice?
I don’t think either of them was shocked! IMO, mom knew.but Alexee didn't look like genuine shock to me
the mother did, she was maybe thinking this was more of a miscarriage before she was told the baby was full-term
Absolutely no excuse for murdering the unwanted infant since New Mexico has a Safe Haven for Infants Act. Under the New Mexico Safe Haven for Infants Act, you can bring your baby, up to 90 days old, to any Safe Haven site in New Mexico (which includes the hospital she gave birth at) without fear of being criminally charged for child abandonment. To be covered by the law, you must notify somebody you are leaving an infant.Yeah this whole thing is so weird. The phenomena in general is.
In the video, she’s holding her butt, as if it really is poop she thinks is causing the issue. And she went, willingly, to the ER. She didn’t go off somewhere to have it and kill the baby.
Is it possible that this teen was so deeply in denial that she actually thought the labor pains were related to constipation? And that she had to poop?
I notice that both she and that other young woman who recently threw her baby in a dumpster like garbage, have the same sort of childish tone. My sense is both were super sheltered and had strict mothers who would not allow them to do anything to mar the family’s “perfect” appearance, and were also simultaneously put on pedestals as “good girls” who could do no wrong.
I think these types of girls may learn how to be manipulative and act childish in order to avoid mama’s wrath.
