Thank goodness!!
I would really appreciate that! I’ll try to update, too, when I see articles on the case in the local news, but I know I’ll miss a lot, since I don’t read it consistently (the news burn-out ebbs and flows).Do you all want me to "follow" the mother thru her hearings, etc.?
TIA!![]()

Covington was last seen driving a small gray SUV style vehicle with a temporary tag. That vehicle was later found empty at the InTown Suites, which is where Covington's mother lives.—KOB
Covington was arrested at the Suburban Extended Stay hotel on Carlisle Blvd near Menaul Blvd—KRQE
To provide some context, she kidnapped the kids, ditched the SUV 3.5 miles away (9 minute drive) at the hotel her mom lives at, then went 2.6 miles (8 minute drive) BACK towards the place she kidnapped them from to another hotel. They were found 1.3 miles away from the dentists office they were kidnapped from.
Thank God she didn’t go farther, but I have to wonder what she was thinking. She apparently knew they would be at that dentist appointment, so she had time to plan. Unless this was a spontaneous visit-turned-kidnapping, her plan seems...not brilliant, IMHO. Did she not count on LE to be searching the area?
Here’s a visual (dentist in the lower right, InTown at the top, Suburban on the lower left):
