What in the world could have happened to "them"? Maybe he was standing in the arroyo for too long?

Not sure what you mean?
Since NamUs is down, I guess he has been identified.

If he died in the same place he is know to have been at, maybe he was standing out in the sun too long and had a medical emergency. He was wearing a dark work uniform that could make you hot.

Could be. Something like dehydration (or hypothermia at night if he didn't have a home) or natural causes. Just speculation.

Came back to this case after a long time and I still don't know what to think of it. On one hand, it seems like the victim was a worker, judging by his tools and his talk with the police.
On the other hand, I doubt that this jacket is connected to this man. LE would certainly check this company's employees list. Also, not trying to bash on anything, but it seems like whoever has made a listing on this John Doe didn't care for adding a lot of details.

I think he was a truck driver - 900 West Motel Drive is Love’s Truck Stop.

Anyone know why this thread is marked Resolved? His Namus hasn't been updated since 2018.

@Vern thanks. I searched using the number in the title which I now realise is incorrect. Happy holidays!
