OMG are you guys hearing this deciding if LC is gonna take the stand in the AM!!!!

  • #2,902
No rebuttals from McKay because the defense witnesses were so pathetic!!!

  • #2,903
McKay is angry... His voice really changes when he gets angry.

What a waste of the jury's time again. A 2 hour lunch, a 3 minute testimony, and bam, they are dismissed for the rest of the day.

  • #2,905
wanna bet this judge adjoins for the day because serna said Levi wants the evening to think over if he will testify :P

  • #2,906
Back live.
Serna has decided to rest he is telling the judge after SW. MAY CALL L.C. !!! HOPE SO!!
LC wants the evening to decide if he wants to take the stand. Will be in the morning when he testifies or serna rests.

So why does LC need overnight to decide about taking the stand. Either you are or not. Is he scared the jury isn't buying the suicide story?

I'm sorry if I confused you NCE, I don't think she was mixing anything, the two main ingredients in Nyquil are Benadryl (an antihistimine) and diphenhydramine (cough suppressant) and probably tylenol or something for ache relief, I don't take Nyquil because the few time I did it made the funny bone area of my elbows feel funny, and not in a good way.

But with her having gone more than 24 hours without sleep, having a cold or the flu and taking Nyquil, I'll bet she was out like a light.

Benadryl (diphenhydramine). diphenhydramine is the generic name of benedryl and it is an anti histamine and a side effect is drowsiness and the secondary use of diphenhydramine is a sleep aide.

It is a gamble for him... I don't think he can pull it off and come across to the jury as a caring trustworthy individual. Excuse my french but I think he would come of as the di.. that he is. He used to be able to hide behind his badge but he does not have that anymore. The "badge" is a shield for all kinds of behavior that are accepted in a different context.

Now he is over there laughing with his family. Ugg. Burns my hide.

Did I just hear Serna tell somebody that he was going to request that the judge pull Farrelly's testimony? I can't remember the man's name or who he is.....but I just heard Serna say something about his testimony and asking the judge to do something about it.

Did you notice Serna has part of his beard up and over his ear.

Also Levi is all smiles and chatting up with his family!

It burns mine too. With him standing so close to his mom, I can sure see the resemblance.
I hope the jury is smart. They don't have a whole lot of factual testimony they can sink their teeth into. If LC testifies, that may be the icing on his penal cake.

I don't think Serna has had a beard trim nor a haircut since this trial began. He looks like a homeless person half the time.

Hopefully, if he testifies his attitude will shine through--the same one that apparently snagged all of the girlfriends while he was married. That won't set well with the jury. Won't with me.

You are absolutely right! I wish the judge would have made him make a decision on the spot and then we could have spent the rest of the afternoon listening to him lie.

I can't remember either who that is. I will try to search the thread later.

Two things stick in my mind about how improbable suicide was in this case and point to the guilt of the one person who had motive. Tera's dad spoke about how excited she was about opening her own business, her own shop and designing the artwork her dad would craft for her. IMO she was looking forward and with excitement to her new life without Levi and two the gun was unseated and I do believe this was an almost automatic reflex on Levi's part, on his background and training as a PO, to have done this essentially leaving me with evidence I consider almost as good as a signed confession from Levi because I do not believe in the hocus pocus dead spasms theory.

Levi had motives. He removed the one threatening to expose his criminal activity with the staged stolen truck. Tera's threatened his job, his career and his ego IMO. Tera was also threatening his ability to fund his 'single' lifestyle with child support through a divorce. I also think he may have learned about Tera's lover and his ego couldn't tolerate an unfaithful woman.

We have had storms, bad storms, and just plain old rain here every day for 3 weeks or so. The storm we're having right now has created a major headache. I'm going to drink a cup of coffee and take my meds and I'll research him if I can't loosen my brain up a little. I remember his name but don't remember who he is.

Very good thoughts here Cuckoo. If McKay can just say what you have said above in his closing, that's all he needs to say. Actually, it really is.

I know his attitude would come out in voice and body language IMO. Plus he could get ripped on cross!!! I don't know though what if he is so pathological and so good that he pulls the wool over their eyes... some people are that evil and this guy could be one of them IMO. LC has training in the military and police academy on composure and other aspects that could benefit him. The evil boyfriend (that I have mentioned in the past) I had at one time I saw testify in family court and it was pretty incredible how he had the judge in the palm of his hand actually everyone around him and if I had not collaborated the ex wife's information she could have lost her child to him for full custody and she is a teacher in drama of all things. He was a military person (high ranking) and he was very good at speaking, influencing and winning over people and he usually got his way.

LC testifying could backfire and bring the jury over I mean who knows it is a gamble IMO on all sides. I am just really thinking this through my initial thought is yes testify but IDK.
