I wish the PT had copies of fax transmissions, return receipts and the like for information sent, email transmissions. I personally keep records of all that sort of stuff at least for a year. But Serna is making this all so muddy it is not clear.

I think the woman state atty showed the judge evidence of all the emails sent.

I have a meeting that will last all afternoon.....can someone post whatever the prosecution argues and the judge's decision (if he has one) so I can read it later? Thank you in advance!

Many prosecutors have the defense sign for it when they receive anything from them.

wooooooooow.. I missed some significant stuff for an insignificant dr's appointment! *sneer* .... This is really a first to know the first chair prosecutor is testifying to first chair defense attorney in the same murder trial they are both of record. Lordy mercy!!!

Weirder and Weirder

Is court over for the day? Or is the jury coming this afternoon for a "trial"?

Oh man, they have been sitting waiting while this hearing is going on? Heaven forbid these poor souls!!! I hope the State of New Mexico have things for them to do back "there" other than stare and think how to strangle the powers to be for making them wait all morning when they could be home doing other things!! :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh:

I thought yesterday the PT asked that the jury not be brought in at all today and the judge said he'd do the hearing in the morning and have them in at 1:30. Maybe I'm misremembering.

I hope that is the case. You are probably not misremembering. Thank you

Me neither. IMO it is running rampant and I am not interested in feeding the fire.

I agree...I'm not remotely interested in it either.

I lost my feed. Is there more than one?

I have Black's Law Dictionary 5th Edition

Mens Rea: A guilty mind; a guilty or wrongful purpose; a criminal intent. Guilty knowledge and wilfulness. United States v Greenbaum (page 889)

In case any one wonders what Defense Attorney meant when he used that term.

When I muted my computer and laid down for my nap Serna was talking about case law regarding Bright or something that sounds like Bright. When I just came back, he was still talking about Bright. Have they had lunch yet, anybody know???
