She had 3 times the suggested cold medicine in her at time of death and Levi was seen buying a bunch of cold medicene?
When his buddies showed up at the crime scene they cut up the sheets on her bed and some of
The mattress that her body was laying on and disposed of them?
Before she was even buried Levi and friends backed up a truck and erased the house of everything that belonged to her?!?
Everything!
Her current journal is missing. Ah huh.
And, there was blood in the tolite which couldn't have been hers as she died immediately-and one of his cop buddies peed in that toliette and flushed away that evidence.

Wow is all I can say. This trial should get very interesting.

Good morning all! I hope each of you survived the storms of last night without incident. We are supposed to get that same storm system late this afternoon/tonight but mostly north of NC.
I think everybody I've ever known called me yesterday afternoon while the day's trial proceedings wound down. I missed the last hour or 90 minutes, so thank you for your posts as they were easy to follow when I read through them last night. Something is not only stinky-hinky about this murder case, but these trial proceedings as well. I hope the live stream will be better today!

Good morning NCEast. Survived storms here in Indianapolis last night, was still raining fairly heavy this morning. It's moved east, coming to you now.
I missed the entire cross examination of Jones; I figured Serna would try to discredit Jones since he was the officer who "dared" cross the killer cop and his dirty cop buddies.

I read above - sorry, can't remember who posted it - that Tera had a lot of cough medicine in her when she died and Chavez had been seen buying cough medicine - ?! WOW if this is proven and brought out in court! If that was in the civil suit I missed it; need to read more about that.

Catch you later when the trial starts; I probably won't post much today, I'm at work and not even supposed to be on this! Darn trials are so addictive!!!

Morning CC! So happy to read that you are ok and didn't suffer any damage from the storms. I hope the worst of it has passed you now and the rain you are getting will let up soon. This has been a very scary year with respect to weather almost everywhere.
I read that too about the cough syrup. I don't recall reading it in the civil suit either--I need to go back and reread the entire suit and absorb it. That civil suit sure did help me understand this entire case so much more easily than had I/we just jumped in when we did with no background. I still think some of the the courtroom protocols we witnessed yesterday are beyond the norm....and the entire APD should be fired.
Woke with 3 hours sleep and a migraine so I am not in any mood for nonsense from the attorneys today. Looking forward to today's testimony and hoping everything goes well for the prosecution.

Gun raised questions about Chavez suicide

Under direct examination by prosecutor Bryan McKay, Jones testified that in October 2010, the investigation was “taken away” from him by his superiors at the Valencia County Sheriff’s Office. When asked why, Jones said he believed it was because his captain had ties to Levi Chavez.

Serna loudly objected and asked for a mistrial.

State District Judge George P. Eichwald denied Serna’s motion, but after calling the jury back into the courtroom, he instructed jurors to disregard Jones’ statement about the captain.

I saw that too, NCEast, and was confused as to whether it meant the actual feed or what. Odd...

I know judges and attorneys in NC read WS. Maybe the judge yesterday realized he was not running a tight ship, and that people were watching and being critical, thus his removing Twitter and perhaps the live stream today? I hope not, I'm too invested in this case now to let it go. Reading a news report at the end of the day doesn't cut it for me.
