But since bedding wasn't collected... can't say it that was blood... #LeviChavez

OMG is am so steamed right now that those police took bedding and interfered OMG I could spit right now.

Why aren't all of the pictures and other paperwork in binders? I've never seen such an unorganized courtroom. OOps, there goes my negativity again.

In my very early adult life, I was in law enforcement. Everything, no matter what, was collected as each time a crime scene or otherwise was investigated they did so with the idea that it was, indeed, a crime scene. The officers who initially investigated and collected crime scene evidence should have had the forethought to do everything as though it was a murder.

Yes so much was lost... to me it is common sense treat it like a crime scene and then if it is found to be not later then great!!!

Ortiz: casing didn't leave burn on Tera's skin where it was found. Did it land there originally or placed there? #LeviChavez

Ortiz: no blood on casing, where there should have been #LeviChavez

However, Ortiz says a possiblity no burn from casing could be it cooled off first, then rolled there as she slumped over #LeviChavez

My thoughts are that the casing ended up somewhere else altogether. By the time LC gathered his thoughts and began staging the scene, he then picked up the cool casing and placed it exactly where he thought it would have landed had she pulled the trigger. That's why I think there is no burn mark on her body.

The blood swipe was there and then it was gone in another photograph. We knew this but painful to see and hear IMO.

Ortiz says it looks like the TV remote could have been in her hand at one point, but the placement looks suspicious #LeviChavez

Ortiz also said Tera's hands are clean. He investigated multiple suicides, and usually saw back spatter on hands #LeviChavez

I wish this witness would include the word blood when he's talking about spatter--just so the jury is perfectly clear.
Am I remembering correctly that they did not perform a gun shot residue test on her hands?

Which side is McKay arguing?

Oh - good afternoon all, I missed most of this morning's testimony, saw the defense witness get sworn in and the judge explanation to the jury - did he make any good points? Did he convince McKay he was on the wrong side of things?

A couple of times with the witness on the stand now, McKay has asked questions of the witness and then clarified or qualified by asking another that sounded like he was the defense attorney.
