What does this guy Perera expect because he was the with a guy who possibly killed his wife and the blue line is very strong. It is not a normal situation. If you are a police officer and you lie IMO you should lose your job. Telling the truth to the best of your ability does not sound like telling the truth to me.

However according to the New Mexico press Perera did not get his job back bc he was truthful but because the personal board did not follow the correct procedure in firing him. That is a HUGE difference.
Maybe...maybe not. I need to hear more. Could be nothing more than semantics.

I always hated calling my husband while he was at work. I think using a phone for personal use while at work is stealing of company time. imo This was always a big pet peave of mine. sorry o/t
