NM - Tera Chavez, 26, found dead in her Los Lunas home, 22 Oct 2007 - #1

Didn't she rent videos and prepare for a weekend with him while the children were at their grandparents?
Was he standing her up and that's why she incessantly called him?

QUOTE=Thundar;9650532]Mr. Chavez got 176 calls from Tera on Friday night (or was it Saturday night)? And he did not answer any of them? Did he not think something could be wrong? Instead of checking on her he went to Debra's house! And she was waiting for Mr. Chavez on the couch.
[/QUOTE]

She thought Levi and her were going to spend that weekend together....talking about things and maybe talking about their future. Yes, she rented movies and bought food IIRC. And he was making plans to spend the weekend with Debra and had no intentions of spending the weekend with Tera.

I was thinking that too.......the weekend to work on their marriage together.......apparently now he spent the weekend with Debra working on that relationship! I cannot remember who testified about the weekend together without the kids there.........

For the first time I heard the hate in LC voice when he said "she just wouldn't stop".

Debra did not give Levi an alibi. She held up.

So even tho his alibi was shot he is still going with this timeline........talk about an ego! I wonder what the jury is thinking about this testimony?

People who are going to commit suicide do not give a courtesy call to their workplace that they're going to be sick.

I hope the taxpayers have found out about all of this abuse of time and energy by their police department. If not, this trial should open some eyes. None of this stuff would happen by an officer here but once.

He just wiped a fake tear away. Just go the Jodi Arias route, and cry through your nose, Levi.

I hear snot but I don't see any tears.

LOL...I am not feeling any emotion towards Mr. Chavez during this testimony.......I am sure this is not what he is going for tho! There now he is doing the nose thing.....He is good tho! Even his voice is affected by the theatrics!

He recovers quickly.

serna ' how were you feeling about yourself when you found your wife dead'

WTF?

That is the last thing I want to know about even if I don't believe that he killed her. He was such a major fail as a husband I don't care about his 'feelings' one bit.

All of this time, he's womanizing and ignoring his wife and kids. Ditches her constantly and ignores her texts and calls. But after a weekend of the FIRST time he turns off his phone and talking to his mommy he becomes "concerned" because Tera was home and called in sick.

BTW: If someone is "afraid of the world", the last job one would get is a job where they had to talk to people and touch their hair all the time.

Serna is doing his best to make LC appear to be human, with a good heart, emotions, guilt, all the normal things that he apparently doesn't possess. Just for the jury to get a good feel for him.

Excellent point! I agree being a beautician is a job where it really helps if you like people and are not fearful of being in close proximity to other people. Being in sales is not a job for the timid hearted. IMO.

It's another Levi lie.

OK...I am done with this testimony.....please leave the kids out of this! Let's have the prosecutor now.....and prosecutor please get that fire going in your attitude, cause this crap needs to be put straight!

If this $cumbag told his kids that their mother killed herself he is beyond reprehensible. Those kids will always think their mom didn't love them enough to live.

The only truth words out of Leiv's mouth 'It was all my fault'.

It certainly was.

  • #3,078
I am confused....Mr. Chavez says he was living at his mom's house.....he was staying at Debra's house.....but after Tera's death his dad brought him clothes from the house he had at one time shared with Tera. And he bought other clothes while Tera was still alive at Walmart......Just exactly where was he living?

He makes so many digs at Tera. So passive aggressive towards her. He just called her obsessive about getting him back.

#LeviChavez said he didn't think Tera was seeing anyone else said, "I thought she was obsessed with trying to get me back"
