I am surprised we didn't get a verdict today. I think maybe the juror's are divided.

What do the rest of you think?

I think you're right. Obviously, they--or a couple of them--are hung up on something and are not unanimous. This delay doesn't bode well.

Oh good! I had asked a Twitter reporter a couple of hours ago if they had the freedom to stay late and never got a reply.

I'm hearing the jury will be released at 5 and resume deliberations tomorrow at 1 p.m. No verdict today. Will post ASAP. #LeviChavez

I just re-read this Twitter post from the famed reporter Jeff Proctor who has been on this trial every day. It says 'will resume tomorrow at 1pm'. That makes no sense unless a juror has a medical appointment, etc.

As I understand it, a juror has an appointment tomorrow morning, so deliberations won't resume till 1 pm. No verdict today. #LeviChavez

If a juror has an appointment tomorrow morning, they should stay tonight. I'm impatient.

Wonder why they're still in there if they plan to come tomorrow?

It's just a minute after 5, they are probably wrapping things up. Although it would make me very happy if they continue and reach a guilty verdict--even if it's at midnight.

Well, now we know for sure. Thank you for posting this. I won't sit here all night waiting to find out something. And, with them beginning tomorrow at 1, I will have time in the morning to clean up my gypsy camp.

Gypsy camp? Do tell. lol

Yeah, I'm glad we weren't kept hanging any longer today. I did the laundry this morning and all the floor cleaning yesterday, not sure how I'll waste tomorrow morning. lol

ETA: Well, the Arias status conference has been moved to 10:30 a.m. AZ time (12:30 my time) so at least there will be something to keep us distracted while waiting for a verdict.

I just received this reply from the Twitter reporter. One more reason to dislike this judge.

Does this jury have the freedom to deliberate into the hours after 5pm if they so wish?

They do. It's up to the judge. Told by a deputy they have to keep at least one deputy here as long as the jury's here.

Okay, thanks. This judge basically mystifies me, at times he's so lax and at others he's ready to throw the DAs into the klink, he runs so hot and cold. Now that he has given the case to the jury, everything should be up to them, it's theirs.

Oh, if you get Bio on TV they are doing serial killers tonight, Wourzos, the Green River Killer and Joel Rifkin, I'll have to catch Rifkin later, Under The Dome is on tonight, I could get a doctorate in Stephen King and his works, I adore that man and everything he does. lol

I wasted my whole day! uggg I don't think I will sit and wait tomorrow.

I will watch for the JA conference. Then I will check in for a verdict here off and on.

See all of you sometime tomorrow.

I agree about the judge--he, like Serna--are very off the wall compared to most.
Thanks for the heads up on the Bio serial killers tonight. I watch that network a lot. I actually watch way too much true crime but good grief, there is absolutely nothing on mainstream network tv that's fit for an IQ over 40.
