Amonet, how likely is it the mother here would even recognize the problem in her child, if she chose to marry the father
who likely had the same mental defects?
I do believe these tendencies run in families and are passed down to the children whether by nature/and/or nuture.

I do too, but I thinks it's more-so inherited. However, it's not so simple as, just don't date that guy/girl. People with mental health issues can become good at hiding their mental health issues, addictions, or whatever else, or, will take meds for awhile until they don't think they need them anymore. Sometimes it skips a sibling, but it will then hit that sibling's offspring. There is no way to just say, Don't date this person, because... A lot of folks never see that side until they've are already married that person and are living under the same roof with them.
