I tend to save texts from family members that I have little contact with. Even save old phones so I don't lose those texts. If I had a brother I rarely talked to or texted, I'd saved them just because it's all I had between us. Maybe I'm just weird though.

The cell phone may die, but you can move the sim card to a new one. The text messages would move with the account.

Wow, so it seems like from the time he started shootings to when they located him deceased was quite awhile. This implies it was an hour+.....I didn't realize that.

Has anyone seen any update on the status of victims in the hospital? I am praying most have peripheral injuries and nothing too serious.

I never delete mine. I have 50GB of iCloud space with Apple that costs me less than a $1 a month (I've only used 12gb of 50gb so I have a little time yet!). Just never think of deleting them. Then when I get a new phone, they transfer over with iCloud because I always just get a new iPhone.

Checking my phone... I use Facebook messenger on there as well and they never get deleted, so some go back three years (to when I got this phone.) Text messages sometimes get deleted and I have threads and conversations going back to 2015.

Some people just don't delete stuff. I don't find it suspicious.

Very surpirsed we havent heard more about this. The woman was with her mother and she was pretty specific in the on-air interview. I am thinking perhaps the coward was partying with some people earlier in the weekend and let his plan spill? Too much of a coincidence for me.

There are some pieces I'm still confused about.

Paraphrasing here, need full transcript, but for now, the the female witness in the blue shirt celebrating her 21st birthday said via interview with a reporter that she and her companion(s) left and went back to their hotel about 10 or 15 minutes before the shooting because she felt uncomfortable about the woman saying they were all going to die. She said his woman was also harassing another woman in front of her with similar words. As I understand it she, the person being interviewed, notified security because it was making her and others uncomfortable and they escorted the female out. When asked, she gave a description that they were both hispanic, gave their approx heights and basically said they just looked like average people. She also said she wasn't sure if the female was saying this to warn them , or if she was saying it like she was part of it.

So, how did this woman know people were going to die?

Has security or the other woman commented on this, etc?

I have not seen this interview, but I wonder if this is unrelated to what happened. I live in a big city, and people who are on drugs or have mental issues will run around telling people everyone is going to die or things like that. I think it could be a situation similar.

The "taxi driver" video was unapproved yesterday because it is a random youtube video and we cannot veryify the source of a video posted by a private individual, nor can we verify that it has not been altered. The video is supposedly sourced back to CNN, but as yet no CNN link has been provided.

So, unapproved again today until someone comes up with the original source link.

The original source of the video is Las Vegas taxicab driver Cori Langdon Facebook/Cori Langdon. The video may be available on her Facebook page. I don't know, because I don't use Facebook. The video is 18 minutes long and unedited. Edited versions have been used by multiple mainstream media sites including the New York Post and the Daily Mirror as well as many others. How much more documentation do you need? I have always understood that if it is in the mainstream media it can be posted here.

In that interview, a woman identified as Brianna described a strange moment minutes before the shooting, where a woman and her boyfriend were kicked out of the concert by security after the woman warned some audience members that they were “all going to die,” or something to that effect.
If the account of this interaction was accurate, it would certainly be eerie. But Buzzfeed talked to the firm in charge of security at Sunday night’s concert, who said that nothing of the sort happened.

Ok. I don't have any siblings and the texts I do get are trivial. It is good to know it doesn't take up a ton of memory. I thought it might and that's why I clear my texts off my phone and messenger..
