I shared Carl's reconstruction with Rick Jones last night. This is Rick's reply:
THANK YOU!!!!! I just submitted to UNT (CODIS) for checks on the following missing persons now that we have DNA and they all have DNA. Hopefully we will get a hit. Some of them did come from your Websleuth's.

The cave where she was found was a very remote and hard to get to location near Red Rock Canyon. It was quite a hike to get there. It appeared to be a hideout where she was kept or voluntarily stayed. Strange case. In talking with our forensic pathologists, the ulcerations to her stomach were not just recently, this is prolonged stress over at least a year. There were no signs she was there for more than a few weeks (alive). I don't know if I showed you a photo of the eyeglasses that were found in the area. Attached is a photo, doesn't show much and don't know if they are prescription or not. Her upper wisdom teeth had been removed and her sockets were healed, her lower wisdom teeth were impacted, she had some dental restorations (filing) and teeth were in a good condition with none missing or damaged. In looking at her photo, she may have a mole on her chin. When we exhumed her body for DNA, our Forensic Pathologist found no injuries to the skull or bones. She indicated the ulcers that were previously described in the stomach can be consistent with those termed Wischnewski ulcers. Which is normally due to hypothermia and/or physiologic stress. She was found on September 27, 1986 and the weather is normally about 80 degrees and a cave normally keeps the temperature about 60-70 degrees. Strange. Human Trafficking, a possible theory, just so far to stash someone, still could be. Good luck and as always let us know.
Be safe.
Rick
Wischnewski ulcers and Hypothermia:
Hypothermia is defined as a subnormal body temperature. In this article, hypothermia refers to the loss of core temperature from exposure. When death results from hypothermia, a series of gastric mucosal erosions known as "Wischnewski ulcers" (1) frequently occur. In examining case material of the Onondaga County Medical Examiner's Office, a characteristic pattern of these ulcerations was seen that was indicative of severe physiologic stress and/or hypothermia.

Looks like some of the earlier rule outs will also have DNA compared (just in case). The previous rule outs were done with dental comparisons.
