I'm glad someone is still looking into her case. Never forgotten! Her NamUs was modified today but there are no new public exclusions.
This one is tugging at my heart strings. She seems like a little old church lady, like Ruth Dorsey.

There is something very interesting is in this lady's Clark County Unidentified Case Search portal entry: the first time I've seen a cosmetic case with the initials C.E.J. being mentioned in connection with this Unidentified.

Do we know if she had any other money with her or just the peso? In all fairness I have one in my wallet too amongst my other US coins but it’s because the clerk at 7-11 made a mistake yesterday. If it was the only currency found on her, then I think it is a real possibility she maybe from Mexico but if it was random coin amongst quarters and dimes I might be less inclined to think so.She carried a peso with her - could she have been Mexican and just traveling in the US? Many light skinned white passing Hispanics in Mexico.

I guess if it was a random item they may not have mentioned it. Then again, her wallet was stolen or lost and the peso may indeed be random she kept separate from the money not to confuse it.Do we know if she had any other money with her or just the peso?
