Ok this is huge then. If she video chatted with him then the last confimed sighting really is in Texas then unless he was not honest about his whereabouts.

I think a Vegas detective handling this remotely might not be, let’s say the best option.

I think Mitchell County/Colorado City should be looking at this then if this is where he was last seen??

Unless he really was somewhere else when he claimed to be in Co City.

Was there pizza/testaurant in the background?

What did Vegas PD say about the jurisdictional aspects, if anything?

She can’t remember. That’s the problem. MC/CC was the first stop. They couldn’t find anyone who had seen him so didn’t want to touch it.

What was wrong with the car that had to be repaired?
Did he use a tow truck?
Would he have gone to an auto parts store?

What about surrounding businesses and gas stations?

Maybe even some local hotels to see if anyone matching his description tried to check in.

This requires a lot of active groundwork on the part of local LE, but if they don’t want to touch it and they can’t verify that was his last location..

It seems to me “Biggs” and “pizza” would be specific details to just randomly up with.

He didn’t do much... Ex fiancé was the bread winner. Car reportedly had been wrecked which caused a mechanical failure. Headlights didn’t work and wouldn’t accelerate over 50. No tow truck. He could have gone to an auto parts store. Not sure though.

Thanks, RMT. Not trying to beat a dead horse, but nobody knows what kind of mechanical failure? I'm just trying to narrow it down because it could make a difference in where he took the car for repairs. For example, CV joints can be fixed at a tire shop (I think), but you wouldn't go to a tire place for transmission issues. Might be a bad example, lol, but YKWIM.

No one is exactly sure the date. They believe the 14th or 15th. No confirmed sightings in TX so they filed in LV.
