LVMPD seeking missing 23-year-old last seen near Treasure Island

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is looking for George Dounis, a missing 23-year-old who was last seen near Treasure Island on the Strip on Feb. 25.

Stephanie Chesnet, Dounis’ sister, says that he was due to get on a flight leaving Las Vegas, but she doesn’t know if he ever made it on the plane.

She last received a text message from Dounis on Feb. 26, but has not been able to contact him since.

Chesnet also says that Dounis suffers from mental health problems and could need serious help.

I was wondering the same thing. If you search for his sister‘s name on Facebook, she mentions in a post on 9 Mar why she can’t get that information.

Geez... Vegas is such a massive place to get lost in. So many nooks and crannies for people to find their way in to. I am sure that it takes an act of congress or a warrant to access the information they are requesting from an airline. They refuse to give out personal information like that without one.

I am a friend of Stephanie, George's sister (internet friend, anyway - we met online well over ten years ago but live in different countries). I'd been hoping to make a thread but there was no msm for a long while. LE really seem to be dragging their feet here. If we know whether or not he got on his flight we can at least narrow the search.
